We've ignored our own backyard and we've now got totalitarian states in Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela. Argentina is also leaning very left. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hugo try to take another country over.

no one in South America is going commie, all the leadership was elected, in Bolivia, Venezuela. Argentina all popular leaders not with you maybe, but among their own people. that is how democracy works. this may be the first time they have truly exercised real democracy without American interference, in many years. If they decide to go socialist democracy as most of the rest of the world has already who are we to say.

No. Ecuador, Bolivia and Venezuela are not totalitarian states. They are true democracies that ellected leftist leaders because the people wanted so. None of those countries are communist, I advice you to look for the meaning of the word communist.
How will "Hugo" take another country over?
And what Bush has to do with what's happening in those countries?

Amazing. No matter what happens, when it happens where it happens or how it happens it is George Bush's fault.
A number of European countries are becoming more conservative and giving up on socialism. Is that Mr. Bush's fault or is it to his credit?
In Myanmar, the people are agitating for freedom. Is that Mr. Bush's fault? People have been getting killed.

Totalitarian isn't necessarily Commie. It could be Fascist. Dictatorships in Latin America are nothing new. They have been that way through most of their existances.
