Did anyone here see a massive display of whining and crying and claiming the election was stolen when the Democrates won the Senate and the House by Conservatives? Or is this just something children and Democrats do when things don't go their way?

Did all of those machines just magically work this time? If there was a minimal amount of whinning immediatly after the election you certainly don't see anyone continually dragging it out still.

But I still see you lefties crying about the Presidential elections. Isn't your nose sore by now?

what do you think about the GOP and their stance (or lack there of) on issues that aren't about white heterosexual males?

any opinions on the fact that only Mccain would go to the debates for hispanic voters that would be broadcast in spanish, that no candidate from the GOP would go to the forum about LGBTQ issues, and now no republican candidate will accept the invite to speak to black voters?

please no insults..... its sad I have to say this but lets all act like adults.

Every day, Conservatives spew more ****. Its unbelievable how blind they are. How much they hate everything. How scared they are. And I'm not saying we liberals aren't guilty of some of these things, but at least we don't set ourselves up on pedestals as perfect. How anyone could still support our President is beyond me. Can you help me understand? Its ridiculously frustrating to me.

i also wonder why people bother asking questions if they are going to block people and prevent them from answering their questions!

i thought those very people who call them selves "patriots" and call others who disagree with their twisted logic "unpatriotic" and "Anti America" should recognize other people's right to speak freely.

isn't that in the constitution "patriots"?!!

MoveOn.org has paid the New York Times $77,508 after the newspaper confirmed that its ad department had undercharged the group for its controversial ad that called General David Petraeus “General Betray Us.”

The New York Post had disclosed that the Times charged the left-wing group only about $65,000 for the full-page ad, while the “open rate” for such an ad is $181,000.

http://www.newsmax.com/insidecover/MoveOn_pays_Times/2007/09/26/35887.html

So... if I do the math... $65,000.00 + $77,508.00 = $142,508.00.

That still equals a near $40,000.00 discount. I don't really care what kind of a discount the NYT gives anyone. It is their business and they can conduct it as they please. As long as they don't cry about the outcome when people will continue to cancel subscribership do to their eargerness to support the fringe left. It was classless to run the add in the first place and I would not have done it were it my company. They do have the right to refuse business.

[A] survey of 3,000 adults from Aug. 1-18 was conducted for the Pew Research Center and the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life.

The number of Americans who say Islam has little or nothing in common with their own religion has spiked to 70 percent in the past two years from 59 percent, the poll found.

Another significant shift has taken place: In 2005, 36 percent of the public said Islam is more likely than other faiths to encourage violence among its believers. That number has risen to 45 percent.

"As he describes in "The Audacity of Hope" Obama grew up in a non-religious environment. When he was a child in Indonesia, he attended a Muslim mosque school. That was enough for a group of detractors to circulate the rumor that he is a crypto-Muslim trying to gain control of the White House. What is true is Obama together with his wife (reared a Baptist) have been active members for a year at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. Obama describes his conversion in "The Audacity of Hope". The title of this book is borrowed from one of his pastor's sermons. He is at ease quoting Scriptures and speaking to church audiences."

By a 341-79 vote, the House passed a resolution praising the patriotism Gen. David Petraeus, the commander of U.S. forces in Iraq, and condemning a MoveOn.org ad that referred to Petraeus as "General Betray Us."

The liberal group's full-page ad appeared earlier this month in The New York Times and has served as a rallying point for Republicans. President Bush called the ad "disgusting" and criticized Democrats such as Sen. Hillary Clinton, the front-runner for the party's nomination, for being afraid of irritating the group.

Is there any way possible advocates of MoveOn.org and the ACLU could just disappear?

In a blinding majority, the House blasted MoveOn.org for the attack on Gen. Petraeus. Obviously it would be hard for Liberals to say the Republicans are trying to censure what MoveOn.org said.
