Prior to the bombing of the Syrian nuclear facility Israeli commandos launched a secret raid on the facility in which they seized nuclear material and the proof that it came from North Korea. Then they brought it to President Bush and received his blessing on the bombing mission. An excellent job by all who were involved. Wouldn't it be fitting if exactly the same thing happened to Iran while their little president was visiting in NY? I'd love to see the look on his face when he was told about it.

which is worse: being a poor speaker or an international terrorist?

Would she be a Senator?
Would she be running for President?

You guessed right. The answer is no because when it comes down to it he does not have the guts or the clout to face down the Republican congressmen who will have to stand for reelection in 2008. He only has one all abiding principle, political expediency.

I'm kinda leaning towards Venezuala.

Cuba used to be the mecca for savvy US leftists. But considering how Hugo Chavez has been agressively courting American leftists such as Cindy Sheehan, Sean Penn, Harry Belafonte, etc..it seems to be all the rage lately with these anti-American traitor types

Take an extremist like Michael Moore, a bleeding hearted liberal. The labels I've seen are "visionary", "talented", and "activist". Or Al Franken..."extremely intelligent". Or Al Gore..."intelligent" (ha! look into his college grades!), "thoughtful", "passionate", etc. You get the picture.

Now for some poor-people-hating conservative extremists, like Pat Buchanan. I've seen "Hitler", "dictator", "hate monger", etc. Rush Limbaugh is many things, including "blowhard", "controversial", "hate monger", "divisive". You get the picture?

Now, given that a out of 79 journalists working for the three major networks, 78 of them are registered Democrats who are either now active or were active in Democratic campaigns at some level, can we see a pattern emerging? The exception is Diane Sawyer, who was Nixon's press secretary.

Bias? Not this media, no way! The labels given by the bleeding hearted liberal media are deserved, not biased...

what do you think?

I see so many instances that once someone is know to be a democrat he is just naturally assumed to be the most extreme of liberals on all issues, and a republican is assumed to be the most right wing of conservatives. I know this is not the case. We are not really that simple in our personal beliefs. Our own personal beliefs vary from issue to issue. But as things stands now you are thrown in with either the left wing extremists or the right wing extremists even if you are really somewhere in the middle. In my opinion, we need to either do away with the two party system by banning parties all together and making people run on what they personally stand for, or at least have a couple more parties....like a labor party that would focus on fairness for american workers, or an americans first party that could focus on making sure our governments serves americans first and not everyone else in the world. Can you imagine how quickly the demcrats and republicans would start acting

They turned down the invitation to the Logo debate. They refused to go to the Hispanic Presidential debate forum.... Now, they are saying no to Blacks.

Debate No-Shows Worry GOP Leaders
Candidates Are Urged to Attend Forums Sponsored by Minorities

Key Republican leaders are encouraging the party's presidential candidates to rethink their decision to skip presidential debates focusing on issues important to minorities, fearing a backlash that could further erode the party's standing with black and Latino voters.

The leading contenders for the Republican nomination have indicated they will not attend the "All American Presidential Forum" organized by black talk show host Tavis Smiley, scheduled for Sept. 27 at Morgan State University in Baltimore and airing on PBS. Former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, former senator Fred D. Thompson (Tenn.) and Sen.and Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) all cited scheduling conflicts in forgoing the debate.

Global warming? Look at the numbers
Lorne Gunter, National Post
Published: Monday, August 13, 2007
In his enviro-propaganda flick, An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore claims nine of the 10 hottest years on record have occurred in the last decade. That's been a common refrain for environmentalists, too, and one of the centrepieces of global warming hysteria: It's been really hot lately -- abnormally hot -- so we all need to be afraid, very afraid. The trouble is, it's no longer true.

Or how about the infamous "Swiftboat Veterans For Truth", an organization led by Lt. General John Conaway, a vice-chair in the Veterans for Bush Cheney, has the sole purpose of discrediting John Kerry's 3 purple hearts, silver heart and bronze heart from his heroism serving in Viet Nam:

All of the top Republican candidates have decided to skip the Tavis Smiley-organized debate at the historically black Morgan State University, and all the major candidates other than John McCain declined to participate in the Univision Spanish-language debate, have republicans now at the point where they DON'T EVEN PRETEND to care about minorities anymore.

Even though we do vote for the politicians don't you feel as if they are not making the best decisions for our country and they are not doing what we want them to do? The politicians are supposed to represent our country and what the people want not do what they want all of the time so why are we not being listened to? Why are things not getting done that need to be done and why are the politicians not listening to us?

Why do Americans have such animosity towards the French, (even to the point where they distort history to villify them)? In England we make fun of them occassionally in the press and on television. Myself and other Britons even have friends across the channel. But we don't publish falsehoods about them in our history books or intentionally teach lies about them in our schools. (That's the only way I could see the asker of the mentioned question coming to the conclusions he had about France).

I just want to know what Americans think. You're not all like that are you?
