I think there was a majority of people in this country who are tired of broken promises made by prime ministers, but as you say it is a maze who do you vote for.
Let's look at a scenario, if you and the rest of the people who are tired of these liars in Parliament didn't vote, along with the pensioners, NHS nurses, firemen, teachers, landlords, haulage firm owners, etc etc etc, then the government will be forced into what is known as a hung government meaning that all parties would have to work together for the good of the country, and in doing so would allow us to see the right people for the right jobs, and maybe find a prime minister who was honourable and focus on the people of this country.
I say vote for none of the above on election day

its a skill we all have to learn in order to understand what they truly mean. They will always twist any question so they can either talk about the good things they have done or bad things opposition has done. as a rule of thumb the further away from a question a politician is going the more truth in the question.
I was watching an interview with gordon brown this morning and when he was being asked about whether there have been too many immigrants in recent years he went miles off the subject. That means that yes there are too many immigrants but i can't say that to you.

You mean by the people who say they will do this or that if elected to make America a better place for everyone. But, who conveniently forget their promises the minute they take office. No. I am not tired of being deceived by them, I am tired of hearing everyone whine about 'oh dear me, what can one person do'. If people don't band together soon to take care of these problems, the problems will take care of them.

Some start out with good intentions but the money and power take over. Screaming Lord Sutch was the exception and the only one I would have voted for.

Oh, I was avoiding this because I don't know anything about politics in the UK... since it appears that things are somewhat ...similar... I am going to go ahead and say yes. Yes, I think it's rubbish (right?)! I think it's nothing more than stupid gorilas trying to pound their chests and make the loudest sound.
