what do you think about the GOP and their stance (or lack there of) on issues that aren't about white heterosexual males?

any opinions on the fact that only Mccain would go to the debates for hispanic voters that would be broadcast in spanish, that no candidate from the GOP would go to the forum about LGBTQ issues, and now no republican candidate will accept the invite to speak to black voters?

please no insults..... its sad I have to say this but lets all act like adults.

I think they refused to talk to the Hispanics because they were afraid of being seen as "illegal sympathizers" by their base, they think the African American vote is going to the Democrats and that it would be a waste of their time to speak to them. They obviously have nothing to say to gays as they are continuing to deny them the rights provided to every other Citizen under the Constitution. Yes, I think pretty much they are the WASP party.

Very complex query I do suppose that white heterosexual men have had the vigor and accountability to rule the planet thrust upon them over the centuries and plenty of would possibly good had been reluctant to play that facet. I additionally suppose that the majority wars, so much prejudice, so much cruelty may also be laid on the toes of white heterosexual men and this is the reason I am extremely joyful I am dwelling in a century in which the stability of vigor has been shared and keeps to be shared out. The pendulum swings .... and white heterosexual men are usually OK peeps a minimum of right here in San Francisco and a few individuals I stumble upon on-line. Times are a-changin' and it is considering matters have become larger with the average societal consensus that 'all guys/individuals are identical' being carried out - a minimum of an endeavour to make that the norm is underway. Who is to mention females would not have been simply as merciless and divisive (might be a human trait versus a gender-certain one) I do suppose the patriarchal paradigm needed to be dismantled considering developing up as a homosexual guy I noticed white hetersosexual men as my arch enemy quantity one: notably white core magnificence male heterosexuals. They had been on the best of the pile however as I say the pendulum is swinging within the different course now and we will be able to handiest wait and notice what the results will probably be .... EDIT: RIO: you quite are at the fence to garner facets don't seem to be you? PURGE YOURSELF! SPEAK OUT, WOMAN!

I believe the premise of your question is incorrect. The GOP embraces much more than white heterosexual males. The Dems seem to have written them off. Most of the candidates on both sides have refused to debate in certain forums. It is likely a mistake but not solely a trait of GOP candidates. Obama himself refuses to let the press travel in the same plane with him, as he wants as little one on one face time with them as possible.
My point in asking questions about Dems and the white heterosexual male is to point out that they have lost contact with the biggest block of voters in the USA, while they pander to special interest or minority groups.

Republicans might have been reluctant to participate in debates sponsored by interest groups that have historically been more supportive of democrats for the same reason that Dems shunned debating on FOX.

There really aren't a lot of SWM 'issues.' There are national issues, regional issues, foreign-policy issues, economic issues - and minority issues. I guess some republicans believe that there shouldn't be minority issues. I tend to agree, though perhaps, not for the same reasons: I think it's past time for America to abandon the devisive concept of race.

Most conservatives aren't as obsessed with skin color as most liberals.

Liberals define people by the amount of pigment in their skin and which gender excites them sexually. These are the important identifiers on the left, especially in groups like ACLU or the NAALCP...national association for the advancement of LIBERAL colored people. Can you imagine if Condi Rice or Clarence Thomas were liberal? The libs would be hysterical until they got put on postage stamps! But they are conservative, so it doesn't matter.

Those "minorities" that didn't use the liberal handouts to get anywhere are an annoying blip on the utopian socialist liberal American dream.

The non-white communities are not really the base of the GOP. Republicans will try to get votes where they can actually get them.

Since I am a white male I am glad they are talking to me. What they do for you is of no concern to me at all.
