It's extremely ridicules is that we are threatening to go to war with Iran. They don't have nukes they are trying to use nuclear energy, what the crime in that? They have it surveyed weekly. While on the other hand us in the U.S. and in Russia are allowed to have stock piles of bombs that could kill every living thing on earth many times over. The only thing they are against is Zionism, and I agree with that one hundred percent. When we people realize that we are the problem not them?

As with all things, Bill Clinton was a great leader for his time. However, that time has passed and it is time for the DNC to move on. Hillary is just more of the past seven years. Agree or disagree?

I mean why do they always have to give each side a chance? I also can't stand how little bitterness their arguments contain. They need to pick a side and not give an inch to any other ideas. Am I right or am I right?

So who the heck is Moveon.org trying to influence to get the US troops out of Iraq? The Democrat voters who will eventually vote for the Democrat politicians who don't like Moveon.org & will keep a lot of US troops in Iraq after Bush leaves in 2009?

How ironic will it be that the same people who will vote Hillary into the White House & support moveon.org won't get all US troops out of Iraq in 2009 or anytime soon after?

Under the SCHIP deal they're trying to pass that is just for children(even the ones that don't need it because the parents have enough money or are covered by the parents' insurance) they also want to cover women with children... well children still in their stomach which the last time I checked didn't count as a child to the pro-choice left... Its just a parasitic fetus to them.

So one of the following has happened:

1) Harry Potter waved his magic wand and they all believe a fertilized egg is a child and abortion will be abolished

2) They want it for pregnant women who want an abortion for free(well not really-working people pay for it)

3) Because government dependent people no longer get extra money on welfare for extra children the Dems think this will make up for their 'give free stuff and get votes' and they will start popping out more kids again because they know their health is paid for by the remaining responsible citizens, thus continuing their "neighbor's keeper" policy.

Abortion and SCHIP

(For those who don't know, SCHIP is a children's health insurance program for families who make too much to qualify for Medicaid but not enough to purchase private health insurance).

It appears as though most Republicans are fiercely opposed to abortion, regardless of a mother's or family's ability to provide the child with a healthy living environment.

It also appears as though most Republicans oppose the SCHIP, which would provide health insurance to children whose families cannot afford it.

Hypothetically, it appears as though Republicans will fight to the death for an unborn fetus to develop and live a normal life, but also fight against the notion of providing them with access to medical services.

MY QUESTION is not why Republicans oppose abortion. My question is why Republicans can oppose abortion and SCHIP at the same time.

No political rhetoric ("lib" v. "con"). This is a serious question.

If not, you're missing a real great debate.
Gravel is a genius, Hillary is genuine, Kucinich is sane, Obama is a visionary, and Biden is hilarious.

Or maybe I'm wrong about all of them.

A horrible, horrible field of candidates.
