Not at the rate we are going.
We are too divided.
We are too far in debt.
Some of our leaders on both sides are selling us out.
Mexico thinks it should own us and there is not enough resistance to stop it.
We can't keep a strong military with long deployments and no end in sight (they are really human).
Too much outsourcing in one form or another.
Too many people won't believe the above.

The answer is no. My prediction, if you really value it, is that technology is advancing way too quickly to think that countries or societies will exist in any way that resembles how we live currently.
