They've been in the brainwashing and indoctrinating vulnerable teens business all along. By the time the kids are old enough to vote they are so indoctrinated by the hedonism Mtv sells and their leftwing political bias that they associate voting for lefties with feeling good.

It's completely Pavlovian , they have no choice in the matter, just like salivating dogs.

Why not just start your OWN TV station and produce as much Republican propaganda as you want? Ask Rush to spend some of that money he's NOT(sure) spending on illegal drugs anymore and use some of his HUGE prestige as a fair and unbiased journalist to get some of his biggest Rep cronies to help you? You could make a movie about a bunch of convicted Republican pedophiles (such as the ones listed here http://www.armchairsubversive.org/) who are given a chance at a full, Scooter Libby-style pardon, and all they have to do is give the Iraqi insurgents the names of all the CIA agents in Iraq!

To pad the movie out, you could have the government offer to pardon them if they'll just enlist and go fight in Iraq, but, being Republicans, that suggestion is immediately thrown out without discussion (Mark Foley could consider it, when he's told how many orphaned little Iraqi boys there are running around loose in Baghdad, just looking for a "father figure" such as him). Man, I think we're really onto something here!

I swear if I see such a movie come out, I'll sue.

Word can't describe just how much I hate MTV. Now I have to hate them even more for sharing my political views.

I guess that sort of evens the media out, given that Fox have been the unofficial propagandists for the extreme fundamentalist Republicans for twenty years. Get over it, and accept that free speech means you have to listen to people you disagree with.

Welcome to the real world. I would think the republican candidates don't advertise on MTV because they think there's no chance of getting those voters to vote for them. The generations that watch MTV are young and are being indoctrinated by the liberal education system. Good for you for noticing. You could email them and ask why they don't do a doc. on a republican candidate but I doubt they would pay any attention. You are smart to notice this though.

MTV is hardly the bastion of liberalness. Just try playing your controversial video on there - it's not gonna happen! (unless they get threatened by the record company!)

I would be pissed off too......if MTV was the only source of info in the world instead of one of the worst of millions of possible options

I remember when the 'M' in MTV stood for music.

It's OK, they can be as biased as they like.

Their viewers are house-bound agoraphobics who don't vote and even when they are eligible to vote, they probably won't.

That is the problem with most TV stations, they always have a one sided view on certain issues. Maybe the owners of these stations give large donations to these political parties.

There is no law that says a television station has to aire everybody's views. They have creative license and you have the choice of watching or not watching.

You are the consumer, you have a right to your opinion but you don't have the right to tell someone what to publish, print or put on TV unless you are paying for the air time.
