I know that usually there is a link to some website story about Bush's sordid past, that was generated in a garage filled with old McGovern lawn signs so I am sorry to disappoint. Who knows, maybe some of you crazies will start typing a bunch of non-sense for no reason at all.

Can the right get it's collective story straight? I thought that George Soros ran the Democratic party. Now they say it's MoveOn.org. Who's next?

Isn't kind of silly to pass legislation against newspaper ads? What's next? "The ad for Transformers the movie is despicable! They completely skew the story toward the Autobots, running the good name of Megatron through the mud!"

Should I get mad that the Republicans don't condemn everyone on this site that posts a poorly photoshopped picture of a Democrat with a dumb pun on their name?

a similar thing happened to my cousin, who was a girly boy, sax player in the eighth grade. with no provocation, 5 black girls jumped him in the hall of the school at four in the afternoon and beat him so bad he had to go to the hospital. i suppose he was guilty of racism.

He was the only one tried and convicted so far, but the conviction was overturned on appeal, because the charge was too harsh. Because of this, we know about the Jena 6...we didn;t find out when the kids hung the nooses, we didn;t find out when the kid was beaten. We found out when it was revealed that the town charged and convicted a child of a harsher crime than was committed. I just keep hearing people say 'there is a difference between tried and convicted'. Seems like there is very little knowledge on this topic, but quite a few misguided opinions...

Insurance companies are one of the most regulated industries on the planet. Instead of putting in place a Universal Healthcare System, should we model health insurance around the life insurance model in place today?

If we deregulate the insurance industry and allowed competition across state lines, it would be affordable.

You can have whole health that grows in value until you need it like whole life. You buy it young to get the cheap rates. You have term health that can be bought in 1 year, 5 year, 10 year or 20 year increments like term life. Premiums would be based upon the policy you choose and a physical exam.

1 year term health would be the cheapest and would cover the basic healthcare and the cost adjusts every year we get older. Whole health would be the most expensive and if you didn't use the entire policy when you die, the retained value passes onto your children or spouse.

To me this makes sense vs. UHC. Thoughts?

the U.S. I doubt very seriously that the VAST majority of Americans want to listen to the diatribes of a person who espouses the total destruction of Israel and a theological takeover of the world. Or do you think that this peaceful protest was successful at forcing the justice system to be blind, and prosecute accordingly, with aggravated assault by a minor? Also, do you think the kids who were found today having hung four nooese on a truck would have been arrested? Or would that case have just been pushed aside like the many before it were?

In the States the parties are the same more or less, but their supporters are completely different.
The two sides have a completely different modus vivendi and view of the world.
I can't imagine this will go on for a long period of time.

Yesterday I bought some stuff at the corner store

I never look at my change until I get home

I thought I was given a loonie and a twoonie

I looked again and the loonie was an American gold coloured dollar

Same wieght colour and so on of a loonie but an American coin with a woman holding a child on the back
