No matter how I feel about ANY US president, they are the president of the USA. I am an American, and therefore whoever is president is my president.
For me, politics stops at the water's edge. It should as well for all my fellow Americans.
As for the fool above me, she should try facts rather than rhetoric for a change.

I believe Gore or Kerry would have done a better job all around, but I'm not so dumb as to think they would have been perfect. Bush didn't deserve to be president, but since he is, I hope and pray he makes a few good decisions.
I don't find him likable as a person -- I've never like that swaggering, cocky persona on anyone. Seems to always cover a lack of ability and intelligence.. But he is the president, so I pray he is much more humble when he is considering actions that can change the course of history.
I don't care for the people with whom he has surrounded himself. I hope he will someday learn to listen without being easily convinced to take actions that he can't take back.
I hope he is the last in the line of R presidents who pretend that they really believe the economy is much better off when rich people have more and more money to spend.
I hope, when he is gone, that the name "Haliburton" never comes up again.
I hope that my Republican friends will stop saying, reflexively, "well, G. W. may be a lousy president, but he is still better than that pussy, Jimmy Carter!"
I pray GW lives long after his term in office and accomplishes 10% of the work done by Jimmy Carter.
Do I hate GW? no, I pity him.
Finally, I hope the next president, and the congress elected with her or him act decisively to implement standards of conduct in office for all elected officials at least as strict as those imposed on NCAA athletes. May the maximum donation for a campaign or issue fund be lowered to $100. May TV and Cable be convinced to set aside 1 channel where only political video is shown cost free, 24 hours a day. Heck, 10 or 20 channels if necessary. But each video may only be 5 minutes long, and may only be shown 10 times total.
And, no one has to watch unless they want to.....
All voters must use a photo I.D. with a coded memory strip. Anyone convicted of vote fraud (including taking away the right to vote for a qualified person) will be put in federal prison for a term not less than 10 years with no parole.
Radicals of all stripes will be allowed 1 hour per day to speak from a soapbox in any public park. Otherwise, put a sock in it.
Ramble, ramble, ramble

Good gracious.... I just can't believe these moronic questions today. Of course George W Bush is my president simply because I am an American. He is everyone's President wether you voted for him or not. He holds the office. You may not agree with him and disapprove of his policies and actions, but to state that you "hate" someone is awfully strong. Now what what that phrase that I used to hear all the time in Sunday School.....love the sinner, hate the sin! You can like George W Bush as a person, but hate the policies of his administration.

they think of that is going to help them win elections. can not say it greater effective than this guy: "the inducement ..... to tell such glaring lies is easy. they're attempting to reclaim the placed up 9/11 “glory days” of the Republican occasion. the point is to cajole the yankee those that purely Republicans can keep them secure, and while a historic actuality like the date of 9/11 demanding circumstances their claims, then they rewrite historical past in charge bill Clinton for 9/11. The Republicans are nevertheless treating the yankee human beings like they're finished idiots. everybody is accustomed to that Bush became into president for the period of 9/11. Their pathetic attempt to alter the info would desire to be an insult to each American. This recent super lie of the main appropriate is a shallow attempt to restore the politics of worry that carried the GOP to victory in 2002 and 2004." Jason Easley EdIt: and then they lie approximately announcing there have been no assaults. Bush Press Secretary Dana Perino it mentioned final November. Rudy Guiliani mentioned it final Friday on ABC information. Mary Matalin mentioned it on Sunday. examining the righties spinning this could be humorous if it wasn't so pathetic. No none of those human beings mentioned "after 9/11". Guiliani mentioned that the underpants bomber became into an act of enjoyed ones terrorism, meaning on American soil or in American airspace. you are able to discover any of those on video. and that they say liberals have a undertaking with info! he is my president, and I don't 'hate' him ... I do have respect for the difficulty of the job
I do think GW has had some long nights thinking about the things he has done
but I can't forgive him for not bringing us together after 9/11, and shifting 9/11 into Iraq ... or for his stubbornness and insecurity by not admitting to his mistakes ... the damage he has done -- diplomatic, social, financial, military -- will take generations to correct. He richly deserves to be impeached, or even tried as a war criminal.

He is the president of the United States, buts he's not 'my' president. I have disliked him since the campaign of 2000 when he smeared John McCain by questioning McCain's patriotism when he was a captive during the Viet Nam war.

Nope, not my president, neither him or his dad...the first time that dubya ran, it was the first time that I was voting, coincidently I was living in florida,at the time ...I cant tell you how cheated I felt (his brother is the governor, you know). Up until now I cant shake the feeling that the votes of the whole state were "miscounted".
I feel respect for the office, mind you.
Edit: jeb bush WAS the governor, thank god!

Because he was never elected; Republicans stole the elections.
In 00, Republicans removed Democrats from the voter registration lists so he'd win Florida. (There were other shenanigans, but that was the clincher.)
In 04 Republicans did a LOT of things to steal Ohio.
I didn't start hating him until he authorized torture and then started talking about wanting to invade Iraq.
I didn't like him before those things, but if you want my hatred, commiting crimes against humanity will do it every time.

I told everybody he was an idiot, before he got elected, and they all got mad at me. Look who's singing a different tune now. I truly believe he is the WORST president America has ever seen, frankly I don't think he could have even gotten a job at MCcdonald's without his fathers help.
My two cents. Peace
