i believe in social democracy.
i believe in worker's rights.
i believe that what bush has done for this country is wrong.
i believe the iraq war was lost from the start, and publically denounced it from 2003 til present.
i don't believe in corporate welfare.
i believe there are more important things than boosting soldiers' morale. namely, the united states' citizens' morale.

don't like it?

then get the **** out of my country. no one is forcing you to stay.

My blood pressure shot up reading this article.

Where's the outrage from our leaders.

Oh, wait, I forgot, we really don't have a government by the American people or for the American people anymore.

Instead, we have a governemnt for their own special interests and by their special interests.

Any way, here's the article:

Keith Olberman stated it so sustinctly last evening on Countdown, any political party that aligns itself with the military as 'the party' of the militay is opening the government open for a military take-over with martial law. If that happens, we won't have to concern ourselves with that worrisome constitution now will we? Let Bush go and sit back and wait for the military coup.

I don't want to be Moozlim. I want American girls to continue being premiscuis. I hate when they cover up.

Are there any Moozlims here who would like to take off their clothes so I can see what you hide from me?

Clinton initiated the removal of Hussein.

Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 - "Declares that it should be the policy of the United States to seek to remove the Saddam Hussein regime from power in Iraq and to replace it with a democratic government."

Sorry to bust your rose colored bubble.

But Bush lied, right? Typical liberal crap!!!

Iraqi Women's Bodies Are Battlefields for War Vendettas
By Kavita N. Ramdas, Global Fund for Women. Posted December 19, 2006.

The United States' so-called "liberation" of Iraqi women has made them less free than they were under the Baathist regime, with abduction, rape, and "honor" killings now a daily reality.

The Organization of Women's Freedom in Iraq (OWFI) recently issued a frightening report documenting the growing practice of public executions of women by Shia Militia. One of the report's more grisly accounts was a story of a young woman dragged by a wire wound around her neck to a close-by football field and then hung to the goal post. They pierced her body with bullets. Her brother came running trying to defend his sister. He was also shot and killed. Sunni extremists are no better: OWFI members estimate that no less than 30 women are executed monthly for honor related reasons.

On the contrary...
By midnight last night over 12,000 people had donated (to MoveOn) $500,000—"more than we've raised any day this year—for our new ad calling out the Republicans who blocked adequate rest for troops headed back to Iraq.

The message from MoveOn members was loud and clear: Don't back down. Take the fight back to the issues that matter."

All day, messages from vets and military family members kept pouring into MoveOn's email, many of them aimed at the Senate:

I have given a son to this country. My brother, my father, my uncle have all served honorably and bravely. I am a loyal American. I am outraged and sick to death of the tactics this administration uses to try to silence dissent to a war that is unjust, built and maintained on lies, political power, and greed. I was content to let others fight more loudly, but no more.

If not, why?

Can you give concrete examples?

I've seen this word used a lot on Yahoo! Answers, so I did some research and found that the experts have varying opinions on what exactly makes genocide.

Is war between two nations automatically genocide?
Is there non-violent genocide?

Genocide = ethnic killing, but if I injure someone without killing them, it's not homicide, if I injure myself without killing myself, it's not suicide, so if I only kill half of an ethnic group, is it still genocide? I really want to know. What's your opinion?

Everyone always says not to vote for your party, but rather for the candidate, but I don't agree with that idea. Firstly, that is what political parties are for, to differentiate candidates into groups based on similar ideals and opinions. So whatever party you are affiliated with is likely the one who's candidates you'll agree with the most. However, I'm a Republican and let's say for whatever reason there is a Democrat that I like more so than any of the Republicans in the race. I would still vote for a Republican candidate that I like less than the Democrat, because the Democrat that I like would likely have liberal cabinet members, sign liberal bills from Congress, appoint liberal government officials, Justices and so on. Now I may like that particular Democrat, but as a whole, I disagree with the Democratic Party’s ideals. Because I voted for a candidate that I like rather than the Republican that I like, I am stuck with a large part of the government that I do NOT like. And Congress and the Supreme Court have much more power than the President does. When you vote for a Presidential candidate, you are voting for more than just a President. That is why I tell people to and why I defend voting for your party, not the candidate.

And why won't the oil corp pay for this war out of their windfall profits?

If you believe war opponents and Bush opponents are unpatriotic and traitors then I have a question for you. If you disagree with the previous sentence then this question isn't directed towards you. I've tried asking this question 3 timmes today and have not received one answer to a simple question. Now for the question. This question does not apply to anyone who disagrees with the above statement.

Will you fully support the next Lib/Dem president regardless if you agree or disagree with their agenda? You expect libs and dems to support the president blindly because if they don't, they're a traitor and unpatriotic in your eyes, right? So, even if you disagree with the next president, you're not going to say anything, right? Because by your logic, that would make YOU an unpatriotic traitor, right?

Just answer the question. Yes or no. Unless you're a hypocrite, you should be answering Yes to this question if you agree with the first line of this post.

news reports have quoted another Bush(ism):

Apparantly Sadam murdered Mandela and all the "other Mandela's", explaining why there is sectarian volience in Iraq?

The idiot! Where are the nutjob assasins when you need one?
The kindest act towards humanity right now would be remove Bush from the gene pool.

Why USA why? The man is a dangerous lunatic and needs to be locked up.

Is Bush's intelligence (or lack of) a reflection of your schooling system, or what?
