Keith Olberman stated it so sustinctly last evening on Countdown, any political party that aligns itself with the military as 'the party' of the militay is opening the government open for a military take-over with martial law. If that happens, we won't have to concern ourselves with that worrisome constitution now will we? Let Bush go and sit back and wait for the military coup.

gosh moma, how you think we got here in the first place? the election in 1999 was little more than a thinly veiled coup d' etat. perhaps you've forgotten that there were us army psyops units in the cnn and pbs national headquarters. why was that? (all parties have since admitted it). maybe you remember the election that year was decided by the supreme court (specifically disallowed by the us constitution). and did you miss 2004? that's the one where democratic voters went uncounted. it's all been right out front for everyone to see; fully reported. and don't even get me started on what happened in 2001! add to that http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/05/20070509-12.html and you have a recipe for tyranny.

Yeah, that Military maniac George Washington was the scariest.
Thankfully the Democrats only got the US involved in WWI, WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam.

It is the first step in a military take-over but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be. In this case I sincerely doubt it.
