Because of Political Correctness, that states that when ever blacks attack others, especially a white, that the attackers are only defending themselves.
In this case it took 6 blacks to defend themselves again one white boy. Never mind that they beat him unconscious, and that he ended up in the Hospital.
Match that against the reported activity of others who put a rope noose in a tree. No one was hurt, or required any Hospitalization.
The white boy attacked by the brave six (6) minority gang of black youths, had nothing to do with the rope in the tree.
But, that did not matter to the gang of six Delinquents. For they Knew that the Media, the black community, and Al the Sharpton, and others would join together to protect their RIGHT to BEAT UP ONE WHITE CHILD.
Those sick six are really something to be proud of - to someone?
Their defenders of the 6 are just as responsible for the actions of the 6 because they are condoning 6 beating up 1.
How proud are they all? How lucky that the 6 did not kill the 1.

A. They are not considered innocent
B. The incident is causing so much commotion because of the way justice has been applied. The white kids hung nooses because a new African American student sat under the "white tree". I am told that nooses have a special meaning for African Americans especially Southern ones-it means a lynching is in the future. Those kids barely got a slap on the wrist despite the fact that their message was tantamount to a lethal threat. Then when the African American kids retaliated the DA came in and basically told them he could wreck their lives forever with one stroke of a pen.
C. What those girls did to your cousin was wrong unless he happened to threatening them in some way.

Did they get charged with attempted murder as adults with a 20 year prison sentence hanging over their heads?
Did white kids that beat black kids the same way get off scott-free?
in Jena they do.

No ones saying they are innocent, the uproar is because they were convicted of a crime that didnt even remotely match their offense......... how a beating (which is wrong period) by a juvenile, turned into being tried for attempted murder as an adult is rediculous......if the prosecutor had charged them with assault from the very beginning this mess would have never happened..........

They are innocent until they have been found guilty by a judge or a jury, or until they plead guilty.

Of course. In this country if a white person is hit by a black person they were racist. If a white person is shot by a black person they were racist. If a black person steals my car, I had a racist car.
