he lets libby lie for him, he gets caught throwed in jail Bush kisses butt and use the get out of jail free that means we can get away with perjury too. LAWSUIT toward the government for all the ones thats in jail for perjury

anyways, did everyone know that Bush was linked to Osama Bin Laden and Democrats knows that. Him and Osama were really great friends and he was ones responsible for 9/11 even though right now he doesnt care about the "enemies" homeland. All he cares about is trying find a way in Iraq a suppose war that isnt in a effect. Using our men, to go over and have themselves killed without a purpose other then like a Vietnam War.

What makes it funny? Bush was never in the military and dont have no leadership in it, he dropped out from gouing to Vietnam when the real leaders left and "fully" supported this country.

i know what you are thinking
"i dont remember the dems doing anything for the farmers"
i hear conservative hosts complaining about high corn prices and "blaming" the dems for it
so does this mean farmers should thank the dems???

I'm not one to bash people with opposing political beliefs, but I was thinking about something and realize the Republicans seem to contradict themselves on one of their core values. In general, less government is supposed to be a core value of Republicans. But at the same time they want the government to restrict/prohibit abortion and gay rights. They want the government to allow the teaching of ID in science classes. They want the government to take harsher action on illegal immigration.

Do the Republicans only believe in less government when it comes to taxes and gun laws. Or is there is serious division between different factions of the Republican party. If the latter is the case, how long can the Republican party exist as it is today? Wouldn't these differences lead to the party fracturing into two distinct parties?

I am an American and I find that a majority of the America's mainstream media is stupid, untrue and mean. Why do these things appeal to the American public?
Ann Coulter's book "Godless: the church of Liberalism" untrue, bullying and mean spirited
American T.V: mostly consisting of pointless "reality" shows containing lots of "drama" and the rest are acted shows containing lots of "drama" or shows like "Maury" "Jerry Springer" or "Dr. Phil" Not to mention the stupid commercials.
American news: in one hour contains about 5 minutes of news and 55 minutes of mostly biased, bashing commentary or two people yelling and interrupting one another
American talk radio: alot of obnoxious, mean, biased, bashing yelling
American sports radio: more obnoxious yelling
Why are these things so popular in America?

What do you say to someone who makes $25k per year and they can't afford insurance, or have been declined because they have pre-existing conditions?

This person has become stricken with diabetes and requires thousands of dollars of treatment which he obviously can't afford. He is now too sick to work and unable to provide for himself. What do we say to this person? Is it his fault? Are we only in this life to fend for ourselves? WWJD? Should we just let him die? Do we just hope a charity steps in and saves him? What if one doesn't? Is human life really that precious? Is money more important than a human life? How much is a human life worth? Where do we draw the line when a life is too costly($) to save?

Christians, is this acceptable? Doesn't God love all of us? If Jesus were here, would he create a miracle to save this man? Or does Jesus only create miracles if he feels you're deserving? Can saving a life be decided by wealth and work ethic?

This last statement could be the last straw:

He now says that U.S. troops in Afghanistan are "just air-raiding villages and killing civilians."

The man is a traitor and a fool.

Would you be willing to pay 60% of your income to get it?

If you make $30K a year, that means you're bringing home $1,000 a month. $15K? $500 a month. Is my math right?

Even if it's excellent care, I'm betting you're not. I'm betting that those who so vehemently support Hillary's socialism literally want FREE medical care. They want free medical care and they want someone else to pay for it. I could be wrong, which is why I'm asking. Such an attitude, to me, would be the very picture of greed and I have a difficult time believing that Americans could be that self serving.

Shouldn't yahoo answers be a place where you learn something new that can be verified from a third party source (like the Census, Bureau of Economic Analyses, Treasury Department, NASA, American Meteorological Society, Library of Congress, etc)

instead

of a place of hearsay, anecdotes, and unverified opinions posing as facts?

If you are a Democrat and oppose the war, shouldn't you be angrier at your own party? I mean, of course you expect the other party to do things you don't want so, why complain to them about it?

Is there any way to prove, that in an effort to create circumstances which require we Americans to be fearful and therefore need politicians, our federal government intentionally exercises poor foreign policy?
If we spend money (an amount far less than we are on the war on terrorism) to end poverty & civil strife in South America, central America, Africa and the Middle East, wouldn't we create a better world, one without demons, immigrants and terrorists?
But if we chose to not spend that money and allow conditions to get worse, don't we create the reason why people immigrate here? Don't we create the conditions (Africa & Afghanistan) that create terrorists?
God almighty this is the greatest country in the world, but there is such evil nonsense . . .

For Americans sitting in cinemas watching the summer's fun movies, such as The Simpsons and Hairspray, the trailer for Lions for Lambs is jarring and unexpected. It opens with a moody shot of the Washington Memorial, and shifts to a series of quick-fire scenes about President George Bush's "war on terror".
Lions for Lambs, scheduled for release in the US on November 9, is not a documentary nor an art house film nor even a Michael Moore-style piece of agitprop. It is mainstream Hollywood, starring Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep and Robert Redford, who also directed it. It is one of about a dozen Hollywood films due for release or being made that deal with America divided, the national debate over Iraq and Afghanistan, and other consequences of 9/11.

Amsterdam, Aug. 14, 2007 (CWNews.com) - A Dutch Catholic bishop has suggested that Christians should refer to God as "Allah" to promote better relations with Muslims.

Bishop Martinus "Tiny" Muskens of Breda told the "Network" television show that "God doesn't really care how we address Him."

Pointing out that "Allah" is a term already used by Christians who speak Arabic, Bishop Muskens said that humans are needlessly divided over such terminology. God, the bishop said, is above such "bickering."

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama received about $1.5 million in contributions this year from college professors and others in the education field, outpacing the party's front-runner, Sen. Hillary Clinton, who got $940,000 from academics.

Still, Clinton's near-$1-million second-place finish was almost as much as academia's total combined donations to leading Republican candidates Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani and John McCain
