Is your life better or the same or worse than that of your parents ?

Yes -

I mean whatever age you are now compared to them - at that age in whatever decade that was - please say - 40 's 50 's 60's 70's etc

In some ways better, in some ways worse. We made different choices and lived in different times. There are more ways to measure better or worse than money and possessions.

Mine is better than my fathers, he died at age 43, and I am 59
of course since my dad died so young, my mother, at age 37 was left to raise 7 children (ages 6 to 15) on her own, all of my kids are raised so I would say my life has been much better

Health wise yes and in other no.

My parents know how to raise children and that is never an easy job.

All I can do is to enjoy life while I am still alive. I am looking to the future and remember the wonderful memories of the past.

Worse. A lot worse. House prices have gone through the roof, working gets about as much financial reward as voluntry work..(and I am infinately more qualified than both of them).

When my parents were my age they were able to afford their own house in a similar career path I have. It's too much for me right now.

Far better and I have no doubt my kids' lives will be far better than my own regardless of who is President of the United States.

Nice try, but people have been trying to scare youngsters with that tired question and line for ages.

OMG life is so much better than my parents. My daughters life is so much better than mine when I was her age

Relative to where they were when they were my age, I am much better off.
