for the leader of the country? They do not have the brains... to do the work themselves but they love to critizise those with the backbone to try and lead.

They're cheap and easy targets for those with weak ethics.

Instead of patriotic and legal protest, they resort to name-calling, spreading unfounded rumors, a "guilty until proved innocent" attitude, sedition, and political bigotry.

Doesn't take backbone to do that. Just weak ethics and lack of patriotism.

They do that while others actually make legislation, protest (not act like criminals or school-yard bullies), join our military, or otherwise pursue the necessary things to help our country achieve what they believe is best for it.

The others? They just want to take cheap shots for their own needy egos. Don't worry, they're a minority for all their yelling.

Here, and in Canada.

Be a patriot for your country. Try to achieve their the best you can for it. That will only help us here in the United States. Stronger friends are good.

Because sometimes governments do bad things. When the leader of your country does something wrong are you supposed to just turn the other way? What if your leader changes your country from something to be proud of to one of the worst places in the world? Is it still wrong to criticize them? What if like Putin in Russia you start killing reporters that disagree with you? If you're Russian does this mean you're not allowed to disagree? In Canada, during world war two the Canadian government once sent all their Japanese Canadian Citizens to internment camps in the mountains over night. They were not allowed to take anything with them and all their possessions and property were sold off. Most of these people had been in Canada since confederation and no longer had any kind of ties to Japan. Most of them didn't even speak Japanese anymore. Is it wrong to criticize this? I know I shouldn't be expecting perfection from my government. And I'm well aware that it's a hard job, but the whole point of democracy is to watch your leaders, so you know whether or not they've done a good job or a bad one. That way you know whether or not you should vote for them next election. I don't know about you but if my government is leading me off a cliff I'd rather not blindly follow it over.

in America we are taught that anyone can be president. therefor we all have the brains
as a certain Mexican-American says "that America b****"
in the USA we have freedom of speech. we have the freedom and the responsibility to tell elected officials when we think they are doing a bad job. if we could not tell the government what we think is right how would they be able to do their jobs right?

Because our leaders are supposed to have the brains.

They certainly have the money.

Not to mention the Advisors.

Give me the money, give me the advisors, and i promise i could do a better job than some of these ******* in washington.

It doesn't take backbone to lead, it just takes money and the ability to sell the spin.

And we show dissent for the government when we disagree with it's actions because we can and becuase its the most effective way to initiate change. Many other countries like Venezuela cannot.

They are just too $%^&&* stupid to know how good they have it...That also applies to their lack of ability to run things themselves...although I am sure everyone of them think they could do a better job even though they have no clue whats actually involved.
