Is there any way to prove, that in an effort to create circumstances which require we Americans to be fearful and therefore need politicians, our federal government intentionally exercises poor foreign policy?
If we spend money (an amount far less than we are on the war on terrorism) to end poverty & civil strife in South America, central America, Africa and the Middle East, wouldn't we create a better world, one without demons, immigrants and terrorists?
But if we chose to not spend that money and allow conditions to get worse, don't we create the reason why people immigrate here? Don't we create the conditions (Africa & Afghanistan) that create terrorists?
God almighty this is the greatest country in the world, but there is such evil nonsense . . .

The amount of money spent in Iraq ( as much as it is ) would do little, even if throwing money at the problems in these areas was a viable solution. It would amount to less than $100 per person, which would only be a short term solution. In fact, an influx of money may very well flame the problems which already exist. The only way to truly fix these problems would be a massive, long term military intervention to install stable governments. Which gets us back to the same situation in Iraq.

It's important to understand that virtually no terrorism is driven by poverty. It's almost always driven by religion, and in particular Islam, and what's left is driven by tribal loyalties. The people who carry out attacks tend to be wealthier and have better education than average ( including Bin Laden who is from one of the wealthiest families in the world ).

Islam existed long before the US came into being, and it was carrying out attacks ( often FAR worse than today ) before the Americas were even discovered. It's idiotic to suggest that we created the root cause of most of the world's terrorism before we even existed.

Illegal immigration is more often the result of domestic policy - that of both countries involved. America has long sought economic growth and enacted worker-protection laws, while other nations, particularly a certain neighbor to the south, have not been so committed to either. The result is an unfillable demand, in America, for cheap, exploitable, labor and an excess of cheap, despearate workers in other countries.

Terrorism is a tactic - albeit, an abhorent one - used to bring about political change. Whether you want to lay the blame for terrorism on the side that begins using it, or on the side that fails to enact the desired political change before those desiring it resort to terrorism is up to you.

UN Planned State of Israel as a Still-Birth

There is every indication that the leaders of the United Nations never intended that the nation of Israel was to live very long after she declared her independence May 14, 1948. But, after the massacre of European Jewry, the nations of the world had a brief moment of self appraisal and were shocked at their complicity in the most massive Genocide this planet had ever known. They all recognized that they had participated. From the instrument of Hitler’s Germany, through the Christian Europeans, the Church, the Red Cross, including the decision by the Western Allies not to rescue, feed or house the Jewish refugees –– all were guilty of committing Genocide.
