Three-quarters of Americans think the United States should stop its military threats (against Iran) and concentrate on reaching agreement by diplomatic means... The vast majority of the population of both countries think that the area from Israel to Iran should be completely clear of nuclear weapons, including those held by US forces operating in the region. But you would have to search long and hard to find this kind of information in the media.
...Most Americans want less military spending and more welfare expenditure...They also want to cancel the tax reductions decided by President George Bush for the benefit of the biggest taxpayers.

On all these topics, White House policy is completely at odds with what public opinion wants. But the media rarely publish the polls that highlight this persistent public opposition. Not only are citizens excluded from political power, they are also kept in a state of ignorance as to the true state of public opinion.

His chosen target was Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, who said recently he would be willing to meet with the leaders of Cuba, North Korea and Iran in his first year in office, and declared in a speech he would order military action to capture terrorists in Pakistan if that nation's president did not.

Romney got off this quote;

"I mean, in one week he went from saying he's going to sit down, you know, for tea, with our enemies, but then he's going to bomb our allies," said Romney. "I mean, he's gone from Jane Fonda to Dr. Strangelove in one week.""

Hilarious! I like this Romney guy!

"Judging by their positions at the time, rather than their post hoc allegations, Democrats adored the Soviet Union. Congressional Democrats repeatedly opposed funding anti-Communist rebels, they opposed Reagan's military build-up, they opposed building a shield to protect America from incoming missiles, they opposed putting missiles in Europe. As a rule, Democrats opposed anything opposed by their cherished Soviet Union.

Whether they are defending the Soviets or bleating for Saddam Hussein, liberals are always against America. They are either traitors or idiots, and on the matter of America's self-preservation, the difference is irrelevant".

That means that your taxes would not go up. Would you support it? if not, why? Feel free to compare the realities of 'for profit' insurance companies to the realities of socialized healthcare in the rest of the world. No need for made up 'what if' scenarios...there is enough precedence in history to support any valid arguments

BIRDS OF A FEATHER!

"We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions." --Adolf Hitler

(Speech of May 1, 1927. Quoted by Toland, 1976, p. 306)

"We just can't trust the American people to make those types of choices.... Government has to make those choices for people"
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p 20 - Hillary to Rep. Dennis Hastert in 1993)

Is it the government's job to give us food, shelter and money, or is it OUR job to provide it for ourselves with the exception of the disabled.

I could have sworn that the words were 'life, liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness'. Not 'life, liberty and the SIT BACK AND WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO PURSUE YOUR happiness'.

When JFK said 'ask not what you're country can do for you, but what you can do for your country', did the liberals COMPREHEND that? Do they understand what that means even today??

Our government's top priority for the Iraqi parliment is for it to pass a law that privatizes the Iraqi oil fields, allowing foreign companies thirty year leases with no requirements about hiring Iraqis or sharing oil revenue.

What in the world does this have to do with the Iraqi civil war, or is there some other reason the U.S. is pushing for this law?

I would think that we can all agree that someone who makes the same mistake over and over again is ignorant. I'm sure you won't admit to agreeing - but if it were a Democrat doing it - you would.

OK - so our douchebag in chief can't figure out how to say the word nuclear. It seems simple enough NU- CLE- ER come on - say it with me now NU - CLE - ER. Why can't this idiot - this buffoon - this disgrace of a human - figure out the most simple of things. NU-CU-LAR? That's actually not the word fcukbag. (yes - I know that's misspelled) If he can't figure out even the most simple - how can he be trusted to handle things such as sharp pencils and figure out complicated issues like gynecologists don't actually practice a love with women. (We won't ask him to help with the housing crisis or do the right thing in Iraq - it's a little hard for him to grasp those concepts) I can just hear what goes through his head when he deals with the war "go bad men kill good win kill muslim"
