"When you have a President who is so unpopular...it really reflects poorly on Congress. None of [the approval ratings] are real high and we acknowlege that, but most of it relates to the unpopularity of the President."

If I understand this correctly he is blaming Bush because the Democrats are unpopular?

The Daily Mail newspaper claims that, the americans say Britian is losing its battle in Basra, when we're clearly not. I know believing the newspapers is wrong, but at every turn America is asking us to put more troops in, give more money..all the time having a go behind our backs.. America has my respect for growing so quickly, but its upsetting that, once great allies, now seem to be becoming mere accqauitances discussed in the newspaper as losing battles.

on rush's program he blamed ethanol production for a shortage of prime beef in NY steak houses.
he said that higher corn prices made beef to costly.
why is it that ethanol is a bad idea to conservatives

it reduses the need for forieng oil, it gives farmers higher prices due to supply and demand, farm subsidies are less,
more jobs, more taxable income

this is america b****
capitalism
rush if you want beef to cost the same then move to china where supply and demand do not effect prices.

He would attack illegal aliens, unpopular, easy target
China, easy target, China does not have a TV channel in the USA, so it is not easy for China to defend itself. (to Dobbs audience).
He attacks government departments, with a general criticism, and not in a way that a defense can be effectively mounted.

He does not attack the greatest government fiasco of the last 20 years, the war in Iraq. If he does, he does it mildly and he promptly brings up one of the generals under CNN contract to give participate in what he is saying.
He looks a frustrated old man, not very smart and not very fair.

whenever there is a negative event for our nation, most (I'm praying not all) libs become happy?

The Dow slips: libs cheer.
Positive steps in Iraq: The majority whip declares it trouble for the Dem party.
Natural disasters: they point and chortle, " See,global warming."
Tell me I'm wrong to suspect the Dem party of secretly slapping one another on the back every time an America soldier is wounded or killed in combat.
Please.

... here at YA, and that the content of your posts, along with your identity, would become known nation-wide, would you continue to express yourself in the same terms you use now?

For instance, would you be any more or less respectful of other people and their views? Would you use bad language? Etc.

This question is for all, regardless of political affiliation.
