whenever there is a negative event for our nation, most (I'm praying not all) libs become happy?
The Dow slips: libs cheer.
Positive steps in Iraq: The majority whip declares it trouble for the Dem party.
Natural disasters: they point and chortle, " See,global warming."
Tell me I'm wrong to suspect the Dem party of secretly slapping one another on the back every time an America soldier is wounded or killed in combat.
Please.

Proof?
Peruse the questions and comments on this very forum.
Many are applauding the drop in the Dow.
And the majority whip is-- ON RECORD--as vomiting those very words.
Katrina is still toasted by the left as a failure by Bush. If that disaster never occurred, what then?

I should clarify: I am not suggesting any of YOU are happy about American personnel being killed, but Durbin, Murtha, Kerry and Kennedy.
Each of them have made disparaging comments about our military.

It has to do with who is in office, if it's a dem they hide the bad news, when it's a republican they can't let the public know he's doing a good job. When Clinton was lying uder oath in court, libs whined "Ooh, but the economy is doing great". Well, actually it wasn't. Now that Bush is in office they are trying to hide an elephant under a lampshade and saying "What elephant?", but we have low inflation, low unemployment, and gas prices exactly where they should be relative to what everything else has gone up over the last 30 years. Incredibly, when the Dow slips, it's Bush's fault. When it goes up, he had nothing to do with it and only the rich are making money.
As to slapping one another on the back every time an America soldier is wounded or killed, well, sorry but you are correct. I'm convinced CNN exec's were high fiving each other when they showed footage of an American getting shot.

No one can answer "Why" because your premise is simply not true, and not provable.
"The Dem party [is] secretly slapping one another on the back every time an American soldier is wounded or killed in combat." Do you actually believe that?
Your complaint sounds like you are listening to or reading to much Conservative Talk Radio, where the people who opposed the Host's political leanings are painted as the worst sort of people imaginable.
Let me ask you this: If the Democrats are celebrating every American Soldier's death, then where are the people who simply believe the war is a bad idea?
For that matter, where are the people who would like to see the American Economy flourish, but don't think the current tax rates and business regulation are bringing about a healthy economy?
In Conservative Talk Radio, the Fox News Network, and some other "neo-con" Journalism, there is no answer because those gray areas get in the way of the simplistic message.
Try listening to something else. Maybe listen to NPR for a week. Yeah, I know you think it's too liberal, but maybe you could keep a running tally on how many times they applaud when there is bad news for America.
If you get a list like that, please e-mail it to me- I'd love to see it (I might be too Liberal to see it without your help!)

I find your question very weird, Friend. I'm not sure if you're trying to tell us that you are against free speech (which isn't very patriotic of you by the way, a lot of people died for that right) or if you just identify so strongly with Bush that you are starting to develop a bit of a chip on your shoulder when he makes a mis-step. Seriously "point and chortle?" Global warming is something we should all be free to discuss; frankly, given the potential seriousness of this problem it's something we have a moral obligation to discuss without worrying about whether or not we are hurting the feelings of apologists like yourself.
The only point I could find in your rant was about some of our Senators, Murtha, Kerry et al, making disparaging remarks about our troops. I'm not sure if that's true or not, it's probably more likely they were speaking out against the war since both of them are veterans, but even if they did it's a free country and they can say whatever the hell they want. Considering Kerry and Murtha were both in combat I'd say they've earned the right to speak their minds. I was in the military and saw combat myself and I don't expect everyone to bend over and kiss my butt every time I turn around (if you want to well, go ahead sir). I served for my own reasons and all I asked for was my paycheck and money for college and, most importantly, not to be sent off to combat without a good reason. And after all of that, if someone wants to, they can say whatever they like about the military; the last time I checked this was still a free country.

You are wrong.
Look behind the policy of either side in relation to the subjects you brought up.
A Republican President insists the economy is great, Iraq is on its way to becoming peaceful and democratic and the Global warming isn't real.
Liberals believe that economy is doing poorly (mainly because of the increased government spending due to the War), Iraq was and continues to be a bad idea and that we aren't doing enough to counteract global warming.
It is not that Liberals want bad things to happen, it is just that we feel that our assessment of all these situations is more realistic and we point out when we were right. The reality of the examples that you brought up is simply worse than the Republicans say it is.

Real terrorist is President Bush himself really close to Osamam Bin Laden for years infact he isnt talking about it and it doesnt take 6-7 years to find one damn guy i mena our troops is everywhere.
You need focus on the real news and get signed up with Washington Post.com or something you need a reality check
I am a Democrat and its not about entertainment like what you guys call it, democrats are future of the country and they discuss better options WHAT SHOULD OF BEEN DONE other then false leader Bush himself. .
I mean everything was scam in libby case which basically he cheated his way out of stuff. Libby helped Bush and Libby was found on perjury and Bush gave him a get out of jail free card. I MEAN HELL CANT WE ALL SUE THE GOVERNMENT FOR HAVING SOMEONE WE KNOW IN JAIL FOR PERJURY.
Bush wanted to see more of what he could do he linked Saddam and Osama up claim their were weapons of mass destruction to start a 2 country war and all he cares about homeland is himself and all his republican parties i mean atleast with democrats we have our necks out of the water making a difference FAIR for everyone and lead the country in right direction.
Sending people back to work is next goal, funny thing is on how much Bush loves Immigration when soldiers do come back they wont have a job because Bush supports terrorism all the way.
Mexico borders are open for anyone to come in from any country take out oil refinery in Texas and CAUSE THE WHOLE COUNTRY TO BE IN PAIN with fuel. yet he wanted make 12,000 lllegals legals and congress didnt pass it well for one it was stupid idea in first place, 2 false documentation on each and every illegal. Does Bush care no he doesnt

you seem to be mistaken
the dow slips: the libs call for economic reforms
positive steps in iraq: nonexistant
natural disasters: conservative government acts poorly in response (katrina). as for pollution and other types of environmental problems, the conservative government cares more about protecting big business than our health and our world. libs are the opposite way.
lastly, if the libs hated the soldiers so much, why are they working so hard to bring them home? why are the libs trying to get them health care benefits?
you're not that smart; libs are against the war in iraq, so why would they be happy americans are dying? that's the exact reason why they're against it. if they wanted americans to die, they'd support the war.

You're wrong.
I don't cheer. I'm very sad to see what is happening every day.
The Dow is down because of loose credit(bad debt that won't be repayed) and hedge funds (with false valuations)-which nobody understands and everyone ignored. It's just harder to hide some things. The Fed dumped lots of money in the system but it didn't help this time. Keep an eye on your 401k.

You think the libs are cheering?
Do you have any clue what your ilk has cost us as a people? Do you know how many people live in poverty in this country and how many children go to bed with nothing to eat! Do you have any idea how many foreclosures on homes that there are?
It seems to appear you do not! Even the US Supreme court chided America on global warming and almost all are Republicans!!
You are a sick man if you think that we are laughing! It is your ilk and your corporate welfare who does most of the laughing....all the way to the bank!
Why don't you take care of the wounded before you start telling us how WE feel! You have no idea! I feel sick, as should you!

Mr. Burns, Take to heart a quote from another Mr. Burns:
"Oh, that God would give us the gift to see ourselves as others see us." -- Robert Burns, Scottish poet
I am a democrat and have many democrat friends, I have never heard any of them, nor have I, chortle about a natural disaster in this country. or any other. You are wrong and evidently a poor judge of character. Or perhaps your views are a reflection of your own character?

Read any of this guys questions or answers and your fears will be confirmed - El Duderino.
They are filled with self loathing and want to make the rest of us suffer for it. They hate that America is powerful and rich and are determined to turn it into a third world communist state to atone for their sins. We just happen to be in the way so we are the enemy not those that want to do our country harm. Those they consider allies.
