Is the reason we're still in Iraq because we don't have signed agreements from the Iraqi government giving us the rights to their oil?

". . . is not being afraid enough."?

Oh, wait. That's not right, is it?

Here it is: "The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself."

Whew! Churchill was kind of goofy, wasn't he? They'd toss his loony @ss into Gitmo for talking like that, these days.

BLACKSBURG, Va., August 2, 2007 -- On September 6, Virginia's own Dave Matthews Band along with John Mayer, Phil Vassar, and Nas will join together in "A Concert For Virginia Tech" at the university's Lane Stadium. Free tickets will be made available to all current students, faculty, and staff. Coming at the beginning of the 2007-2008 academic year, the concert was conceived as a way to help the university community move forward in the aftermath of the April tragedy at Virginia Tech.

Nas is hip hop’s foremost lyricist and thinker

http://www.vtnews.vt.edu/story.php?relyear=2007&itemno=421

OpinionJournal offers a sample of his lyrics.
http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Shoot-%27Em-Up-lyrics-Nas/6A160F395E62FB8F482568B9002E6F71

Please excuse the 'foremost lyricist and thinker's language:

"One 44, two 45's
3 loaded clips, 4 n****s roll, one n**** drives
500 Benz, 6 reasons why
This kid should die
We shootin every motherf***** outside
Pulled on his block, jumped out the car, guns in our hand
At the same time everybody ran
There that n**** go, hiding in the crowd
Let the trigger blow, 7 shots now he lying on the ground
Blood on the floor
Then we shot some more
N****s he was with
2 n****s hit, one n**** fell
One tryed to run, go get him son
Make sure he's done before we bail, i aint trying to goto jail
Must handle beef, code of the street
Load up the heat, if these n**** think they could **** around
Real n****s do real things
By all means, n****s knowin how we get down… It goes…

Chorus (4X)
Shoot 'em up, just shoot 'em up, what…
(whispering)
Kill kill kill, murder murder murder"

Do the VT moonbats really think this is " a way to help the university community move forward"?

I'm sure Cho would be touched

I like that we have a 2 party system, but can't we all agree that gov't shouldn't intrude in economic issues? instead of the democrats and republicans shouldn't it be the libertarians and the republicans?

I could use this space to show the foolishness of his Pakistan comments , but I won't . This question is about his public statements to negotiate with American enemies , yet attack American allies . And nothing more .

Negotiate With American Enemies. . . . .. . . ..

Attack American Allies. . . . . .. .

Does anyone at all see any consistency in those two points ?

If anyone does see anything resembling logic in those two points I would surely love to see your rationale . And please include an instruction manual as to how to put those two points together logically .

Radicalism began in the 20th Century. What caused it?

Iran is a theocratic, militant Islamic state and Syria is a secular nationalist state. They both sponsor terrorism.

Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it!

Recent History of the Middle East Parts 1 and 2 expllain this. It's a brief history of the 20th Century focused on the events which led up to current day Iraq and our challenges there:

No politics. Just the groundtruth from one that has been to both fronts in the War on Terror.

I'll be around to tomorrow to respond to your answers before choosing.

I am sure it was sold as something good for education and good for the people and for schools...which is the b.s. part. But knowing Bush and how he never really wants something thats good for the average citizen, what was his real malicious intent?

I am hoping people who really are familiar with the program and its effect on education will answer.

In his words in the debate with Rudi Guiliani Paul said America's putting troops in Sauid Arabia caused the extremist to hate America and attack us - thus saying we are to blame for being attacked by Islamic extremist and suggesting a foreign policy that brings home all American soldiers.

Why does Paul forget that Saudi Arabia asked us to build the bases we use there becuase they feared Saddam Huessein (1) and Islamic Extremist (2)? Accepting Ron Pauls' logic do we sit back and wait for Islamic Extremist to steam role over a few Islamic nations, cut off the countries middle eastern oil supply and enjoy $20 a gallon?
