Originally, prior to about 20 years ago, it was the Republicans who were leading the charge for states' rights.

Now, neither the Republicans nor the Democrats have any interest in giving up the centralized power block they've created in the federal govt.

I know the Libertarians would allow state's much more local authority and independence than either of those two. There may also be other "third-party" groups, and I'm sure there is a party dedicated primarily to that issue.

Well There is a small party called the constitutionalists. That wants to return our government to how it was intended according to the powers vested in the constitution and other documents from our founding fathers. I am not a member but strongly believe that this is the way we need to return to.
