Do you think emailing the media to complain will make any difference, or do they just ignore it?

(For those who don't think there is a rightwing bias, here is proof: http://www.mediamatters.org.)

There is only one way and that is to buy up all the newspapers, radio and TV stations. Oh wait, Rupert Murdoch has already done that.

If you think complaining and boycotts will work, you are fooling yourself. In my market, they purchased a station just to shut down Air America broadcasting. With no government controls you have to buy your way to the truth I'm afraid.

First of all, your source is a left wing organization ("progressive" as they call it).

Just because Chris Matthews asks stupid questions and makes irrelevant comments doesn't mean there's pervasive right wing bias. Have you heard the silly and irrelevant things asked of the Republican candidates.

Furthermore, many of the examples presented by mediamatters.org relate to talk shows or media that does not present itself as unbiased. O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, etc. have a point of view and very openly express their opinions. The real problem with bias is that which takes place outside of the editorial page or shows that are focused on analysis versus objective journalism.

When a newspaper or news report displays significant biases in news reports, that's where there's a big problem. Unfortunately, these biases are largely liberal in nature.

Stop watching the False News Network. If their ratings go down far enough, the advertisers will jump ship.

Of Course that strategy could fail. Murdock Bought the Washington Post and turned it into a paper that loses $10 million a year, but he keeps that going so that he can publish his opinion.

NOTHING, not one damn thing can you Republicans do but
just kept that remote control on Fox News. You know that channel with all those good looking men and women commentators. O'Reilly, Big John, Hannity Partner, Greta, man you got people on that Fox News that have seen I hope their better days, WHEW!!!!!! That channel should be called The Channel of Horrors.

Recognize that there is a difference between "NEWS" and "OPINION". There should be no opinion in the news and no news in opinion. Opinion should be based on 'established' fact - not unsubstanciated 'thoughts'.

Whether the news is left leaning or right leaning - people should stop being parrots of their favorite 'news' source and start thinking for themselves.

Of course it won't make a difference.

If Big News Media seems like it has a right-wing slant, that is because that is what sells. Corporations sponsor shows that attract an audience.

How about don't watch the news?

Seriously, I have been on these board for a few days now, and the questions are ALL the same. Just switch out liberal/conservative and Democrat/Republican sometimes. It is really getting old.
