Well, no, she has no point, because of her false assumption of Democrats cherishing the Soviet Union. Any sane person, on the right or left, should read that line and say "Give me a break."
She is nothing but a rabble-rouser, spouting misinformation and hatred by construing the beliefs of others into what she wants and what is not the truth. She is harming America and doing a disservice to all Americans. She has no shame, and no credibility.

If Democrats really hated America then why would they stay here? Just because they disagree with you or Ann Coulter does not mean that they embrace communism or the Soviet Union (which, by the way, no longer exists).
I am not Democrat but I don't consider either the Democratic or the Republican party as "hating" America. That's just asinine. There would be political violence in the streets if that was the case.

She might have had a point, except those anti-Communist rebels that the Democrats refused to fund now call themselves Taliban and Al Qaeda.
Ann Coulter is BOTH a traitor and an idiot. She's been a loyal and vocal champion of President Bush's dismantling of the Bill of Rights- publicly questioning the patriotism of anyone who stood up for America.

As usual, she has no point. The Mujaheddin were originally funded by Carter, with a Democratic congress in place. Since the "Star Wars" program has been shown to be unworkable, opposition to that was simply good common sense. Reagan's out-of-control military spending helped create the massive deficits that helped ruin the economy after he left office. Basically, what she points to as pro-Soviet actions by Democrats were actually pro-American. But she wouldn't know what's actually good for this nation if it came up and bit her bony behind.

Since she didn't live through the bomb shelter era and wouldn't bother to read the history as it actually happened and doesn't have an open enough mind to consider any opinion other than the one she espouses, she really doesn't know what she's talking about.
