An MS degree in computer science. Whoopee. What's that mean? You are smarter than I am? *laughing* I'm an American citizen and for a while yet it's still a free country. So my Constitution gives me the right to call C-O-N-S-E-R-V-A-T-I-V-E-S idiots...and cowards...or anything else that comes to mind. Wow...really? An MS degree in computer science? No kidding? they are just frustrated about how many people do not understand the link between guns and violent crime. Studies consistently show that gun control decreases violent deaths. They also understand that healthy societies do not force religion upon everyone, while some people insist on outlawing abortion just because it is against their religious beliefs. They are also frustrated about how the Evangelicals claim that they understand Jesus. He wanted us to end suffering, and if that meant funding research to cure diseases, then God gives a green light. They tend to get pissed when an administration attacks a country that had nothing to do with the attack on the US. It would be okay to attack Iraq (would it???) if we had already dealt with al-Qaeda, but we have not. One thing I do not understand is how they always want to help poor people. Why should we care?? They have no voice, let's just leave them that way. If we want the rich to get richer, the poor must get poorer! Those damn L-I-B-E-R-A-L-S are always trying to close that gap between the rich and the poor! They also tend to believe in things called FACTS. They come from scientific research. Especially research regarding this thing called global warming. But, fortunately, the conservatives understand that we just need to get nature to cooperate with us, not the other way around. THANK GOD FOR YOU CONSERVATIVES!

I hear quite a bit of this from both sides. Though, it does seem that the liberals are more hateful (maybe I'm biased and just seeing what I want to see, so I apoligize if that is the case). I think its idiotic for anyone to just start in on the name-calling rather than give an intelligent answer. If I disagree with you, I'll tell you I disagree with you and will give you the reasons why. I won't degrade you or myself, however, by calling you childish names.

Actually I do have a degree, served a year in Vietnam, and have been paying taxes all my life. I could ask the same question of the brilliant Neocons who parrot terms like libtard, lieberal, surrender monkey, ad nauseum.
