Boy - You post a fact like "Since 9/11, there have ZERO major terror attacks on USA soil" and liberals just lose it.
The same people who say that Bush has nothing to do with us not being attacked are the same people who talk about the great "CLINTON" economy.

There is no way to prove that any of Bush's policies has had anything to do with our not being attacked on our soil. It may simply be that they are waiting to do it. After all, there were no attacks here between the two WTC attacks, now were there?

It is all of the above.
The morons who bought the eight-year argument between the WTC attacks purposely fail to mention that it was not eight years between the 1993 WTC attacks and the defeat of our U.S. Rangers in Somalia, in which al Qaeda was indirectly involved. It was certainly not eight years between the 1993 WTC bombing and the attacks on our African embassies. It was certainly not eight years between those attacks and the attacks on U.S. wives and children in the Khobar Towers incident that killed American contractors' families in Saudi Arabia. It was certainly not eight years between Khobar Towers and the attack on the USS Cole. How many times did Al Qaeda attack and kill innocent civilians during the Clinton Presidency? Clinton buttkissers will tell you one. The truth will tell you at least six times, and Bill Clinton DID NOTHING! He even placed a muzzle on the CIA and prohibited the CIA from assassinating bin Laden as soon as they had actionable intelligence, and let bin Laden go when Sudan offered to hand him over.
Thank you President Bush for knowing that there is a time for diplomacy and a time for action. Mr. President, you are a true patriot and history will long honor the sacrifices you made, the struggles you endured, and the decisions you made to put a stop to the slaughter of civilian lives and fight terror worldwide. In doing so, you have improved the lives of us here in the homeland immensely and freed millions in captivity to terror across the world.
Thank you, President Bush!

I've noticed that Al Qaeda seems to like to stage attacks on the west around transitions of power. Perhaps as a way of showcasing the 'weakness' of democracy. Both WTC attacks happened early in an new President's term, the latest attack in England happened around the time Blair left office, and the attack in Spain happened right before an election.
Based on the two WTC attacks, I'd say the next major Al Qaeda attack on US soil will occur in 2009.

I am not included in that thank you note. Beucase Ben Franklin said it best.
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
It has not been 8 years since 9-11 and that was the last time we were attacked before then. So we are not out of the woods yet.

Really? What would you call the Ft. Hood attack, or the Boston Marathon bombing, or the shootings in Orlando, or the one in San Bernadino?

Why were we not attacked between 1993 and 2001?
Thank you President Clinton for keeping us safe.
Actually, I don't really agree with that, but the point is valid. Bush has little to do with us not being attacked since 2001. If anything, we're more at risk due to the war in Iraq. The "fighting them over there" argument is pretty lame and weak. Don't forget that Britain has been helping us, and you yourself mention the London attacks. Hmm...

I can't prove or disprove your theory but it was 8 years between the first bombing of WTC and 9/11. They take their time and plan carefully. I don't know when American Hiroshima will happen but I know they are planning it. How many times have you heard the gov't say there will be another attack but they don' t know when?

P. S. Thank you also, President Bush, that we all haven't been trampled by Heffalumps and Woozles, which are every bit as big a threat. It's a good thing you fight them over there in Fantasyland, so we don't have to fight them here.

Do you really think Ft. Hood was not a Terrorist Attack, and that it was really just a disgruntled employee and work place violence?
