I think it's time we really start driving home this point. Maybe Congress will actually do it.

If not, he sure does act like it.

I'm not just talking about commuting Libby's sentence, which in effect rewarded Libby for not speaking out against Republicans who outed CIA agent Valeria Plane for political advantage. I'm talking about the hundreds of laws, Bush has chosen to ignore.
-------
WASHINGTON -- President Bush has quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, asserting that he has the power to set aside any statute passed by Congress when it conflicts with his interpretation of the Constitution.

Far more than any predecessor, Bush has been aggressive about declaring his right to ignore vast swaths of laws -- many of which he says infringe on power he believes the Constitution assigns to him alone as the head of the executive branch or the commander in chief of the military.

These weapons and arms are used to take down the elected governments of those countries.

Do you think that is okay? Should the US intervene?

If you are okay or do not think that the US should intervene would it be okay as well for some of us Americans to arm up with what Iran is selling? You can order online with a credit card here,

1. Turned the largest US surplus into the largest deficit in American history, then gives tax cuts when he should be raising taxes to get more money for the country. (And of course, he only gives tax cuts to all of his rich buddies.)

2. Blamed bin Laden for 9/11 (which is okay), but when he couldn't find him, made Americans forget about him by diverting their attention to Saddam Hussein, who had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11. Has he found bin Laden? Has he found any WMDs? Didn't think so.

3. Feels the need to stick his nose in Iraq's business and "improve" their government while bombing and completely destroying Iraq-it's obvious it's just an excuse to go to war.

4. Lies about there being NO terrorist attacks since 9/11, when there have been quite a few that he covers up or makes America forget about. (Like that anthrax threat a few years ago for example.) Al qaeda takes years to regroup - bush has done nothing to make America more safe!

Pre 9-11, terrorists and criminals used to be able to go to certain states and buy firearms with no background check. All they had to do was find an unlicensed dealer at a gun show. Is this still true?

This is to debunk a recent white supremecist question/answer that said when minorities attack whites based on race, they don't get convicted of hate crimes.

In fact, they do!

AN INDIVIDUAL EXAMPLE
The alleged hate crime attack on a Lewis and Clark High School student came after his attacker said, "I want to beat up one of these white boys," according to the affidavit of probable cause filed by Spokane police.

Tyson Leroy Brown, 21, of Spokane was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of malicious harassment, a Class C felony hate crime. Brown also had an unrelated warrant from Oregon, according to a Spokane police news release.

Brown is accused of walking up to the student and knocking him unconscious with a punch to the head, then kicking the student as he was on the ground. The attack occurred Wednesday during a lunch break across the street from Lewis and Clark.

I am often accused, by my Republican friends, of being a "Bleeding Liberal." I'd like to have an equally appropriate, pithy, polite, innocuous but also slightly derisive term to call them in return. Thought of "you Callous Conservative' but that doesn't quite do it for me. Any better suggestions for a blank in "you....conservative(s)" that captures the essence of extreme conservatism?

The white candidates would be crucified if they pandered ONLY to their own race day after day...but Obama seems to get away with it. He goes to a black-centrist racist "church" and no one says BOO about it.
Condoleeza Rice does NOT live her life as a BLACK WOMAN - she does her job and lives it like a PERSON...a member of the human race. I really respect and admire her for that when I see people like Obama.
