You really ought to give an example of how you believe history has been revised so it can be defended or rebutted. No one knows what you are getting all worked up about so no one can answer your question. But if you really want an answer...

Actually it's the NEW 7 wonders, not replacing the old ones, so what you're talking about has absolutely nothing to do with the question.
