or does Bush Administration and Positive= OXYMORON?

Frankly I don't think anyone who thinks clearly like me can honestly have anything positive to say, and if you did, I do not think I would listen.

There is ample reason in this world today for people to be flagrant Pessimists ...like me.

The only worthwhile items i can think of are lots of coloring books with crayons and various editions of my little pet goat.....

Of course, what I think of is driven by my clear thinking...there are obviously more books that might be considered, but that would not fit with our mantra!

and Cons say we are peace lovers.... joke!!!!!

After all, think of all the countries in which soldiers have fought...don't listen to repubs who say they fought for freedom and then came home, it's not clear thinking!

Cindy Sheehan is threatening to challenge Nancy Pelosi if Pelosi doesn't introduce impeachment proceedings within 2 weeks(Yahoo News story) . To tell you the truth , Earnest is somewhat ill today and heading back to bed , but this was too rich to miss !!
So with Rosie out of the way for awhile(at least until NBC digs deep in the garbage and hires her for ratings only) this might be the wild rant-fest of the summer . So will it take-on WWE proportions , or be more like a Soap Opera ?
Smack-Down ?
or
Backstab Fest ?
Body Slams ?
or
Will they try to steal each other's man ?(does Cindy have a man?)
I don't know who to root for in this cat-fight !!
Maybe a Cage Match -- Two women go in , one comes out ?

Oooooh those wacky gals in California !! Remember when we wished they all could be California girls ? Not anymore !!

Before it was chic and trendy in Hollywood circles, was Ubzee Dubzee Moore WAY ahead of the game when he began producing his products of bs WAY BEFORE hating America became so fashionable? And does he deserve much of the credit for fathering this movement of motherland loathing?

the lack of cooperation between the the elected democrats and the elected republicans in US politics?

Is anybody, Is nobody, interested anymore in solving the common problems that affect us all through moderation by peaceful democratic means. (examples of common problems faced across the planet are Weather problems, Immigration, poverty, hunger, sickness, misery, violence and war) Where has the spirit of progress so characteristic of the Age of Reason , the Age of Science and of the Enlightenment gone? Where?

Please, this is a non-partisan issue and I only point to partisan situations in order to illustrate the nature and scope of the issue which I believe boils down to an unwillingness to cooperate through constructive politics.

I like Jimmy Carter a lot as a person, but not at all as a President. He seems like a good guy, he is a good diplomat, and he knows people well. The economy was poor when he was a President and he failed to get the hostages from Iran several times until he got them released at the last minute. He could have accomplished a lot for the world as a Secretary-General of the UN.

Tax increases you can expect for universal healthcare based on taxes paid in Denmark and France.

Middle 40% USA tax would increase from 28% to 37%
Poorest 30% USA tax would increase from 6% to 14%
Richest 30% USA tax would increase from 65% to 67%

That would mean if you earn $40,000 a year, tax increase would cost an additional $3600 a year.

Proportion of taxes paid by the broad income group Taxes include all direct income taxes, including employee social security contributions. Income groups were built on the basis of final disposable adjusted income.

view Lincoln as one of the worst people in US history, at least. Yes he freed the slaves but only in the South at first (leaving slaves held in states that stayed loyal to the union in bondage for several more years) and only after he started loosing support for the war and needed a “humanitarian” reason to keep waging the war.

Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus (The authority of judges to free prisoners held without legal reason is based on a right that existed in America long before either the Constitution or the Bill of Rights were written), imprisoning many people who spoke out against him but were loyal to the union.

Lincoln is responsible for the first military draft in US history, which caused riots in most major cities including New York were armed troops killed civilians in order to put down the riots.

Lincoln imprisoned multiple Maryland legislatures, Baltimore’s Mayor and Police Chief with trails or warrants in order to keep Maryland from succeeding.

Is Abe Lincoln being a hero for freeing the slaves in America or loathsome for the way he conducted the war and his actions as president.

Sheehan said she will run against the San Francisco Democrat in 2008 as an independent if Pelosi does not seek by July 23 to impeach Bush. That's when Sheehan and her supporters are to arrive in Washington, D.C., after a 13-day caravan and walking tour starting next week from the group's war protest site near Bush's Crawford ranch.

I got a copy of every journal entry he made during his presidency at a book store. It revealed what he really thought without the media editing what he said about his thoughts and what not. He seemed really smart and likeable. He mentioned his assasination attempt and said how he hoped God forgave the attempted assasin. He mentioned how he befriended a child with muscular dystophy, how he thought most politicians were corrupt and dishonest, and also, how he was angered when he saw drugs being popularized in the media because he knew kids would see it. I can't believe some people actually think Ronald Reagan was a bad guy when he was probably one of the most friendly, honest, and likeable Presidents we have ever had no matter if people did not like his policies or not. And he put down what he really thought and you can tell that because the journal was released after he died, so there would be no worries about what things he said.
