These weapons and arms are used to take down the elected governments of those countries.
Do you think that is okay? Should the US intervene?
If you are okay or do not think that the US should intervene would it be okay as well for some of us Americans to arm up with what Iran is selling? You can order online with a credit card here,

Either I am the worlds worst communicator or half of you are stupid. Is it okay for Iran to arm terrorists that are trying to take down a legally elected government? If so is it okay for Iran to arm Americans?
For the dumb, Israel is a legally elected government, hezbullah is a terrorist organization.
You people need to take a step and look at what you wrote, you are saying it is okay for Iran to arm anarchists but you would have a cow if people in the US started arming with Iranian weapons.
The sheer insanity of this place is beyond belief.

Arming legally elected governments is morally correct, arming terrorists who are trying to maim and kill innocent people is immoral. America has ever right to stop this immorality and the rest of you can go pound sand, but look at behind you.

No, it's not OK! We should stop pussyfootin' around trying to fight a PC war and really fight. We're in a proxy war with Iran, I say confront them now, let the fighting be there, and then see how fast the insurgency in Iraq and Lebanon dissolves.
JGF it doesn't matter what country those terrorist (or any of them) came from, they all belong to Allah.

Only if the innocent people of those countries get to use them to fight the insurgents. However, I doubt that is the reason Iran will send them, so no, unless the American soldier's raid Iran's transports, and use the weapons against the insurgents, and hands them out to the citizens of each country.

I don't think it's OK that Iran is selling weapons to Iraqi insurgents.I believe it is their right to sell weapons to Hezbollah.America sells weapons to Israel

On selling weapons to Iraq I agree that is unacceptable.I believe however diplomacy can work on Iran. They did help America out in Afghanistan, even the Bush administration admits that.
I also regret that the selling of weapons by Iran is highlighted and again the role of Saudi Arabia is almost never addressed. We shouldn't accept anyone selling weapons to insurgents but we shouldn't be friends or allied with countries who do so for sure.

The attackers on 9/11 were almost all from Saudi Arabia, now they are selling weapons and supporting the Iraqi insurgency financially and it is kept silent. Why?Why the focus on Iran and the refusal to address the severest threat?

Is it OK? No. Could the US stop it if we wanted? No. I have to laugh at some peoples moral outrage that Iran may be meddling in Iraq and yet when Iran and Iraq were at war who was it meddling and shipping arms to Iraq? The US of course. And who was it shipping arms to the Taliban in Afghanistan when the Soviets invaded? The US of course. So how can some think it outrageous that a country such as Iran is shipping arms to insurgents in Iraq when we have done the same thing in others parts of the world many many many times. If it is wrong now for Iran it has been wrong for the US previously.

Saudi Support for Extremism
A number of sources have reported that Saudi private entities and individuals, as well as sources from other countries, are allegedly financing or supporting Islamic extremism. However, U.S. agencies are still examining Saudi Arabia's relationship, and that of other sources in other countries, to Islamic extremism. For example, in July 2005, a Treasury official testified before Congress that Saudi Arabia-based and funded organizations remain a key source for the promotion of ideologies used by terrorists and violent extremists around the world to justify their agenda. In addition, according to State's 2005 International Narcotics Control Strategy Report, Saudi donors and unregulated charities have been a major source of financing to extremist and terrorist groups over the past 25 years. In July 2003, a former State Department official testified before Congress that a Saudi-based charity, al-Haramain Islamic Foundation, had allegedly financed assistance to the Egyptian terrorist group Gamma al-Islamia. In May 2004, the same former State official also testified that some half dozen of the most visible charities, including two of Saudi Arabia's largest, the International Islamic Relief Organization and the World Muslim League, have been linked to supporting Islamic terrorist organizations globally. In addition, a former Treasury official identified Wa'el Hamza Julaidan as a senior figure in the Saudi charitable community who provided financial and other support to several terrorist groups affiliated with al-Qaeda operating primarily in the Balkans. Moreover, the 9-11 Commission report states that al-Qaeda raised money in Saudi Arabia directly from individuals and through charities.

I'm really surprised that we haven't done anything. That and the fact that they're training insurgents to kill our own soldiers is very troublesome.
Russia has deep ties with the Iranians and I'm wondering how much of an effect this has had as to our reason for simply not taking action.

The way I look at it, they have as much right to involve themselves in the Iraq war as we do. All things being equal, that is.
If you consider we had no right to invade in the first place, I think Iran and other countries in the middle-East have every right to assist Iraq if they see fit.
If someone invaded our country, would it be OK for Canada, England and other countries to come to our aid? Sure it would.
Same thing applies over there.

No . & Hell no! Isn't one major *&$#^%-up/ decade enough?
ps Erudite, we aren't powerless, just diminished . What fools in charge keep forgetting is that the main sources of our power are economic & cultural.
( vision in my head : student-demonstrator in Lebanon last year , burning US flag, chanting something , while wearing jeans & a sweatshirt that had " SW Missouri St." on it . His compatriots , almost to a man , had some US-originated logo on theirs. Most amusing flag-burning I've seen in awhile.;D btw, did you see Enrique Igleisias was SRO,..... in Syria , recently? Not to my taste, but you get the picture. )
