I am often accused, by my Republican friends, of being a "Bleeding Liberal." I'd like to have an equally appropriate, pithy, polite, innocuous but also slightly derisive term to call them in return. Thought of "you Callous Conservative' but that doesn't quite do it for me. Any better suggestions for a blank in "you....conservative(s)" that captures the essence of extreme conservatism?

At least you bleed, bro. At least you bleed. How about the Stone Cold Cons?

You know what I think is interesting? Conservatives and Convict share the same root word, and both have almost the same meaning.

The only truly coherent retort is for us liberals to bleed in unison in a focused way. As long as the big tent holds every little quirk and quack tha can crawl under or blow in, we'll be bloody as ever. Bloody as a red cross tent raided by vampires to make a silly azz horror movie.

Is that what you really want to do? You're a bleeding heart because you supposedly care. They're not because they don't. Calling an insensitive jerk a name doesn't phase him in the least but it does bring you closer to being what he is.

Unless "liberal' is just your clique, and a way to pretend you're superior to anyone who's not in. Then by all means, invent some names to call...
