I think it's time we really start driving home this point. Maybe Congress will actually do it.

Like if someone asked when he was born, the answer should be: July 6, 1946, and he needs to be impeached.

Yes it should however first we must impeach Dick Cheney, as we damn sure don't need that man running the country! Unless we can get them both at once which is very possible!

I don't like the guy, but in order for him to be impeached he has to do something really memorable. I think that is best he finishes out and we move on; this presidency is a true lesson why our democratic system has failures. How on earth does a president that constantly makes the wrong choices gets elected twice...I don't know.

I will tell you this: the reason why he was elected because he was the better of two evils. This is the big problem with American democracy. Americans have no options when it comes to presidential elections. So when they have to decide on change or consistency, they pick consistency and henceforth that's how Bush gets elected.

So I don't think he should be impeached, I think this is a burden that us [the citizenry] have to carry for not letting our voices be heard.

Impeached on what grounds? Impeachment is like an indictment. You've got to prove that there is a case for conviction. Being a bad President is not grounds for impeachment.

Now, there may be grounds for impeaching Dick Cheney, based on many indications that he has considered himself to be acting above the law. But even in his case, I have yet to see a specific allegation of criminal behavior for which there is some concrete evidence.

I'm a Republican. I think this administration has been the worst my party has put in office, perhaps ever. They are conservatives socially, but not in terms of conserving the constitution, holding the line for the budget, or acting with prudent reserve in foreign affairs. I wish we could get them out of the White House yesterday.

But for impeachment, you've got to have more than outrage. You've got to have evidence.

Only if you're crazy. And no, even this bad congress wouldn't do that. It would be the first time ever a president was impeached without breaking any laws, simply because some people disagree with his policies.

And that's the most ridiculous item of the day.

It's not going to happen. Bush is only in office for another year and a half (thank God). Republicans aren't going to support impeachment in an election year and the process can't go anywhere without significant republican support.

NAme the specific law he broke. Did he commit perjury like Clinton? No. Did he lie about WMDS? If he did so did Bill Clinton in December 1998, and he was not impeached for that.

Get over Bush and do like that liberal organization says and MOVE ON!!!!

You can't impeach Bush. That would leave Cheney in charge. Better to start with him and then burn the underbrush.

But don't you get it bedwetter.Bush and company are bigger closet Marxist/globalists/One World crusaders than even your farthest left wing booger eating heroes...WAKE UP and pull your head out of your @ss
To destroy a movement you must crawl inside it and kill it from the inside out which is just what pseudo conservatives Dubya and his creepy old man successfully did.

When you come up with a legitimate reason you let us know. While your reasoning still circles around opinions rather than facts, do us all a favor and disappear yourself.
