all of these trees because of Al Gores concert. Yes the world would have stopped yesterday if not for Al Gore. People would not have flown in airplanes etc etc.

The world got to see some of the people that have the larger carbon footprints in the way they live and pollute the planet all get up on the stages around the world and sing to us about how we should do less to effect the planet.
If we all polluted the planet half as much as some of these people, the world would have been a wasteland years ago. So the only message I heard was,
"Do as I say and not as I do"

The "Global Warming" issue isn't about Al Gore, it's about a serious issue involving our Planet.

Some ppl feel the global warming issue is BS, but then can those same ppl explain why the polar caps are melting at an alarming rate?

As with other issues we encounter, we are entitled to our opinions and sometimes our opinions don't agree with others, and there too, is the way of the world.

How 'bout the issue regarding the date 2012? What's your thoughts on that?

So... do I understand that if it wasn't for Al Gore you would have planted a tree???
Or is it because it is for Al Gore you do not want to plant a tree???

In the vain hope of getting you to understand a basic fact of science, trees help clean the air that we pollute, we cut down more trees than we plant. The air gets dirtier and dirtier, Al Gore wasn't much more than a seventh grader when Ms. Feller taught us that in earth science.
Why do people say stupid things like we can just ignore the whole environmental thing...do they have somewhere else to live?

Nice spin on things lol. Never thought that way thanks for opening a window lol. Well plants and trees are good for the enviroment they clean the air and produce oxygen lol and we shoudn't just do it cuz we got a concert it should be because we actually feel a real need to stop a growing problem, last two polar bears on earth lol. (if you dont get reference nevermind)

Peta was upset for they served beef, show it's all about dollars...so line up, oh yeah since Al measures all in carbon.. the concerts produced 200,000 metric tons of Carbon.....

I did plant some grass seed for my lawn this morning can I get a $30 t-shirt made in malaysia from the concert now?

Because this topic is the flavor of the week. Wait awhile--it'll calm down unless you've been talking to died in the wool tree huggers.

The environment is one if not the most pressing issues. Should this planet become uninhabitable...guess what?
