We all know about Marc Rich, but Clinton pardoned a lot of people that we just don't know much about. What were they sentenced to, and what were the crimes of most of these pardons and commutes?

Both can't stand America and embrace nutty conspiracie theories. Al Qaida beleives the JEWS the Holocaust never happened and the socialist anti-american blogs think Diebold stole the election and Bush pulled off 9/11.

While the form of treachery varies slightly from case to case, liberals always manage to take the position that most undermines American security.

Whether they are defending the terrorists or bleating for Saddam Hussein, liberals are always against America. They are either traitors or idiots, and on the matter of America's self-preservation, the difference is irrelevant!

Instead,
we have laid waste to an unconnected Iraq,
lost the initiative in Afghanistan,
lost 4100 American citizens,
killed and responsible for the deaths of 850,000 Iraqi and Afghani people..
Allied ourself to Pakistan, which is responsible for the very ideology that we claim to be at war with....

Can this incompetence and treachery carry on ???????

How is gun violence in the U.S. "irrelevant?"?
- Every day, more than 80 Americans die from gun violence. (Coalition to Stop Gun Violence)
-The rate of firearm deaths among kids under age 15 is almost 12 times higher in the United States than in 25 other industrialized countries combined. (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
-American kids are 16 times more likely to be murdered with a gun, 11 times more likely to commit suicide with a gun, and nine times more likely to die from a firearm accident than children in 25 other industrialized countries combined. (Centers for Disease Control)

How is this irrelevant? Where I live (Philadelphia) the murder rate, most of it caused by gun violence, have resulted in the deaths of over 206 people this year alone. This need to stop before it is too late. It is not controling people's lives but it is stoping violence and death. So are you still going to say that gun violence is "irrelevant?"

Heard on the BBC broadcast on PBS the other night, after the arrest of 8 Muslims for the attempted car-bombings (of which 4 were physicians and the others medical professionals) that 2/3 of the physicians in Britian were immigrants. Has this been the effect of socialized medicine in Britian-----that the physician jobs will only be taken by immigrants? If we try socialized medicine in the U.S. will we have the same effect? How many radical Muslims will be allowed into the U.S. under the disguise of being a physician?

A Detroit city employee who says she can't work because a co-worker's perfume is too strong is suing the city.

Susan McBride's lawsuit, filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Detroit, says the work environment is in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

"This employee not only wore a strong scent, but also plugged in a scented room deodorizer," the lawsuit states. "Ms. McBride was overcome by the smell almost instantly, causing her to go home sick."

McBride wants a ban on such scents at work — and unspecified damages.

The media and the mindless liberals that believe their every word are having a fit over Bush commuting Libby's sentence for a NON-CRIME and yet they (the liberals) aren't screaming about the ADMITTED theft and DESTRUCTION of CLASSIFIED documents from the National Archives by Clinton servant Sandy Berger ( an honest to goodness crime) and where is the outcry of Congressman Jefferson being caught on tape taking bribes and then being found to have over $90,000 of the bribe in his freezer ?? Then there is the liberal whining about a possible Presidential Pardon for Libby. Let's carefully review the facts as they currently stand. 1. In Bill Clinton's 8 years in office he Pardoned well over 400 people including a man who was wanted for tax evasion (and Clinton is a democrat right?) who fled the country and then renounced his citizenship. This man was pardoned for the simple reason that he BRIBED Bill (contributed to the Clinton Campaign).

Bush has made fewer than 150 pardons.

The reason he gave for commuting scooters sentence was that the sentence was too "Excessive" And yes, he had every right to commute his sentence. The question is this. Scooter was sentenced according to FEDERAL guidelines, by a republican judge. So will Bush try and change the sentencing guidelines, and then commute the sentences of the other few hundred people convicted of the very same crimes? It seems to me that if its excessive for 1 person convicted by a jury of his peers, then it must be excessive to EVERYONE convicted by a jury of his/her peers. Will Bush do the right thing and change the sentencing guidelines and commute the other sentences of those convicted of this crime? Or was Scooter special?
