She seems so far ahead of the Republicans and I don't see Obama overtaking her prior to the primary. When Obama's supporters jump ship to her camp, won't that just seal the deal?

Stop war

I was thinking about how too many doctors and patients both are so severely hamstrung by the insurance companies that many patients end up getting such poor care, they die. Patients are limited economically due to coverage restrictions and doctors are told outright they are limited as to what type of medical procedures to use. Even worse they are told NOT to even mention some types of medical practices (even if it is in the patients best interest) to limit the overall cost.

Isn’t it about time we take another look at are age old sayings and revamp them to reflect the world we live in now?

“Shoot the insurance salesman”

Various definitions of terrorism have included:
(1) Intimidation and murder of civilians to effect political change.
(2) War waged by illegal combatants.
The first would include acts done by the US government (and Hisroshima/Nagasaki), as well as what Israel does to Palestinians.
The second would include what are also called "freedom fighters" in many countries, including the american war of independence.
Both would include the Nicaraguan Contras who were armed and supported by the US government.

So what definition of terrorist would not include what the US and Israel do?

Please avoid the "Yes but what about...?" type of gut response and try to give a rational definition.

They're always throwing this fear scenario at people when they talk about leaving Iraq. We paid Billions for a huge Iraqi army, yet Repubs talk like us leaving would just leave the whole country wide open for various groups to take over. Is this just more fear tactics by conservatives?

don't even have access to health care. Are our priorities so scewered we'll spend hundreds of billions in Iraq yet we won't take care of each other in our own country? It's not all about me, it's all about we. If we are such a great country, stop telling me and show me with actions. A healthier country is a more productive country. What say you? Tell me or show me?

By socialism I DO NOT MEAN COMMUNISM, which is a failed system. I do mean a political, economic and social System, which advocates socialism as a basis for the economy, which would be a market economy directed and guided by socialist planners making adjustments as shortages and surpluses occurred rather than relying on a free price mechanism, and democracy as a governing principle. This implies government ownership of the commanding heights of the economy, such as heavy industry, energy, and infrastructure, while introducing decentralised decision making and giving local managers more freedom to make decisions and respond to market demands and that political power would be in the hands of the people,

or do they just hide behind their computers on Yahoo making up fiction about Iraq? I'd love to see a neocon at the supermarket, gas station, a bar, restaurant, at work spouting off about Iraq like they do on Yahoo.
