No, at least not from the defined fascist philosophy. It does seem that many do want a socialist state however. Fascism is against liberal "progression" so if anything it seems we are heading in the that direction.
"Fascism is an authoritarian political ideology (generally tied to a mass movement) that considers individual and other societal interests subordinate to the needs of the state, and seeks to forge a type of national unity, usually based on, but not limited to, ethnic, cultural, or racial attributes. Various scholars attribute different characteristics to fascism, but the following elements are usually seen as its integral parts: nationalism, authoritarianism, militarism, corporatism, collectivism, totalitarianism, anti-communism, racism and opposition to economic and political liberalism."
"Socialism refers to a broad array of movements which aim to improve society through collective action and to a socio-economic system in which property and the distribution of wealth are subject to control by the community.[1] This control may be either direct—exercised through popular collectives such as workers' councils—or indirect—exercised on behalf of the people by the state. As an economic system, socialism is often characterized by state or worker ownership of the means of production."

I'm going to say no. It is more likely poised for a socialist takeover because the liberals have a socialistic agenda, such as government controlled healthcare and profit taxes attempting to be levied on big corporations for the purposes of helping the average schmoe. If this does indeed happen, then we might as well prepare ourselves for full-fledged communism, as it is usually not too far down the road from socialism.

The answer to your question is : Yes, we are.
Our government has slowly eroded away our rights with the Gun Control Act of 1968 and the Brady Bill, The Assault Weapons Ban, ect in order to disarm the populace like Adolf Hitler did in Germany during WW2. We have people who are so strung out on drugs whether they are illegal or prescribed that if we had an invasion by our own government we would be really hard pressed to keep them from oppressing us. The government has got us into the United Nations who believes in a One Government World or as they call it "The New World Order" our past presidents up to our current president are all part of the Trilateral Commission. We have so much of our tax money that is paid out to foreign governments that owes us trillions of dollars but have never repaid their debts. They won't take us on in a battlefield they will takes us economically because we have destroyed our industrial infrastructure and outsourced our jobs and labor markets.

I have to wonder if you even understand what a statement like that means or if it is a question that looked good to you at the moment so you decided to ask it.
My answer would be no and I completely agree with Satan's Attorney. (Which is scary in itself).
