I was thinking about how too many doctors and patients both are so severely hamstrung by the insurance companies that many patients end up getting such poor care, they die. Patients are limited economically due to coverage restrictions and doctors are told outright they are limited as to what type of medical procedures to use. Even worse they are told NOT to even mention some types of medical practices (even if it is in the patients best interest) to limit the overall cost.

Isn’t it about time we take another look at are age old sayings and revamp them to reflect the world we live in now?

Insurance cost is already highly regulated by the government (unlike lawyer's constant lawsuits). One of the reasons premiums are so high is because of trial lawyers suing everyone, forcing doctors to absorb the cost unless they have liability insurance. This raises the cost of medical care which raises the cost of insurance.

Everyone should realize that insurance is another appendage of Corporate America and will bleed you dry. Because it plays such a front line role in the political arena and pays for "dis-information" services the truth is not exposed. I am a victim...have proof...and there is still nothing I can do. This country's healthcare system is terrible and you are fed lies. There is a great deal of truth in Michael Moore's film.

Actually, it's:
"Let's kill all the lawyers" (Henry VI, Part II).

One reason this country is such a mess is that people don't read and don't get their facts straight. If they did, they wouldn't fall for insurance-industry lies.

The insurance industry and the health care industry are the most regulated in the US. The regulations come from governments, state and federal. Blame the politicians.

Hmmm let's see number one expense for doctors is malpractice insurance so they pass on that expense to the their practice which in turn goes to insurance which in turn causes some people to not be able to afford it. (supposedly)

I say we stick to shoot the lawyers.
