It is not at all true. One congressman, no senators, was sworn in after the last election on the quoran. The bible would not have been appropriate since he is a practicing Muslim. But Obama is a practicing christian. Why anybody would practice either sect is beyond me but there you have it.

Who knows.

We have separation of Church and state here, and it makes no difference whatsoever what holy text, if any, Obama used to swear in. What does matter are his policies for the nation.

America cannot take another leap toward socialism. Economic collapse is imminent under the current entitlement burden, and a socialist President would finalize the ruin and we'd become like Europe: 60% income tax, every family has one car because gas is 7 to 8 dollars a gallon (besides cars themselves are more expensive due to super-unionized labor and 20% VAT). Crappy health care system that makes you wait 4 hours to deal with anything short of a heart attack. Etc.

What we need is change. An end to the Iraq war and Big Brother programs that drain the economy. Republican Congressman Ron Paul is the only GOP candidate who voted against the Iraq war and would pull us out as quickly as possible when elected.

And HE would swear in on the Bible.

It is not true.

kolacat17 - More Muslims in the U.S. than Afghanistan and Pakistan combined? That is FAR from the truth. I don't know where you heard that... because the U.S. doesn't have 175 million Muslims.

Afghanistan - ~32 Million people, >95% Muslim
Pakistan - ~155 Million people, >95% Muslim
United States - ~300 Million people, .5% Muslim

He used both. He uses the Bible, but his father was a Muslim. Barack Obama is not. This is how I understood it to be,
