Its silly, anyway I've been with a virgin before and would rather be with a woman who is comfortable and adventurous. Virgins are too nervous to really have fun with.

That is the problem I have also and why I feel this is such a different fight and that we must not ever show that we will back down. I am not saying that the Germans and Japanese always seemed rational in their fighting but 99% of the time they approached issues as we did and thus in the fight we knew what it would take to win the war. If someone believes that by being a martyr for their cause gets them some fantasy life there is no way of negotiating with them or ever letting them beleive they are winners in any part of the war.

I agree with the others, what good is a virgin any way, can't be to much fun
Did you see the special the other day on TV, where they were strapping bombs onto six year olds? When the child got to scared to set off the bomb, they would put them in prison until they changed their minds!! I say, turn Iraq into a parking lot. They are a nation of killers, with no true grasp on reality!!

Conditioning. Much like people don't just go out and run half-marathons without working up to it. Those who [choose] to believe this have been conditioned to accept the interpretation of the Koran, and the teachings of the Imams, that espouse this tenant.
Had they been taught from an early age that if they become a martyr they would be able to climb walls and shoot webs out their wrists, then they would firmly suspend reality and believe that as well.
Those with a greater mental capacity to "critically" think, they figure it out, and don't blow themselves and bus of school kids up for the sake of their God.

Why would anyone want a virgin? They don't know what they're doing anyway.
LOL I don't know why someone would believe something like this, other than they've been raised to think these things are important.

Muslim RADICALS believe that. Normal Muslims do not. One should not judge the entire religion of millions by the acts of a few radicals. That would be like judging all of Christianity by the actions of Jim Jones and the People's Temple.

Who the h**l wants 72 virgins anyway!? I'd rather have one woman to rock me for eternity! 72 nagging women telling me, "no, I'm not ready yet. It hurts. OUCH! Do you think I'm a sl*t? Will you call tomorrow. I love you"...and so on and so on!

People who are uneducated and indoctrinated by those who are better educated and in power for the fame and recognition, will believe anything their leaders tell them. These Imams are no different than Hitler when he convinced the populace, particularly kids, to follow him and do what he told them to do. In the end, they run away and leave their followers in ashes.
