I was again impressed with Huckabee. I hope he gets more press because he has been pretty solid in the debates, far better than the other lesser-known candidates, like thompson, brownback, and tancredo.

So I fall in a category of my own. I am a proclaimed Democrat and I am proud of that. However I have some conservative views. Suchs as the war we are fighting, government control, corporate taxation, welfare, illegal immigration etc... Why does that make me a bad liberal? I think our media has lost control. I love Hillary, but they have already ruined her chances of being President. Why when it comes to politics does a liberal view have to be all or none? Why can't there be some rationalizing?

I'm not trying to stir up trouble or anything, I'm just confused.

-Why are we at war right now?
-If we got attacked by Bin Laden, then why did we retaliate against Saddam?
-When we found out there were no WMD's, why didn't we pull out of Iraq? (Or did we find that out after capturing Saddam?)
-Why aren't we concerned about Bin Laden?
-Why does everyone hate Canada all of a sudden (or at least it seems like that to me)

I'm just confused. It seems like I'm trying to prove something, but really I just don't know.

Thanks and please cite your scources!

Rush posted on his website "Liberals Are Jealous of Our Women"

"RUSH: She's a babe and there are people out there talking about, "Do you think she's ever danced the pole?" I kid you not. I was going to do the story yesterday, didn't get to it, but they're ripping Fred Thompson because he's not a good-looking guy. "He's 65 years old, what's he doing with this good-looking 40-year-old babe? There's something not right about this." Look, liberals, they're envious as hell of our women, folks. Everybody knows this. It's one of the best kept secrets going on in politics."

But the person who said that was Joe Scarborough. I always thought he was a Republican, not a liberal, but I don't really know much about him.

He was charged and, from what I read, it was basically proven that he did lie under oath...

last time I checked... that's against the law...

how did he "not" do this? I've heard many say "it was just a vendetta" and "he's not guilty"... yet no one explains it?

Isn't the real problem the fear-mongering, the fact that all too often these days, the rhetoric around these anti-terror arrests doesn't fit the charges? Is it the first time we've seen officials get overstimulated when announcing terrorism charges?

So why is is that, in so many terror cases, prosecutors seem to go out of their way to make alleged bad guys sound scarier than they are?

These four terrorist bozos schemed to blow up fuel tanks and a fuel pipeline at JFK Airport; not passenger terminals or airplanes.

Don't some cops and prosecutors like to turn their targets into superheroes? Doesn't it help to justify their hard work and make life more interesting?

So, every time the government is found to be embellishing its case, doesn't the public lose a little bit of faith?

I know that we always laughed at some local headline about a "pot bust," when we knew that the weed involved was "ditch weed" at best...but that "street value" figure always looks good in print...

It's pretty sad. This is all their lives will consist of until they eventually die lonely.

The days of imperialism are over and America's becoming more diverse every day, so all they have now is the internet to write "LIBS SUCK ROTFL!!!!!!!!!"

It's okay, evolution will take it's course and eventually mix/breed these inbred hillbillies out of the gene pool for good. they know it too

I wasn't alive during those times. I think schools today are overly critical on it, overemphasizing the lack of support of the war instead of trying to figure alternative ways to handle that situation.
