great evil , Yet we are the only nation that just gives billions of dollars away each and every year ,
they give nothing , but terrorism and threats,
I wish that for 10 years the United States wouldnt give a dime away , look after just ourselves , then I think they all would be clamouring to have things back like they were , agree or disagree?

Without wanting to appear naive why did the Bush Admin happen (twice) I know that GW is only the "porte parole"
But after pluging the world into chaos, starting with middle east, he/they started a civil war in Iraq, and are now trying to extend it to Iran and Syria....
And finally with only ( i hope) a few months to run he has re-ingnighted the cold war.
Is he really detemined to be remembered as the only US president to have plunged the 20/21st century into total mayhem, just to be remembered for something.
Is it the money the oil or the "glory"
I know most politicians are only there for thier own profit, but I feel Bush has pushed the limits of the envelope of pure stupitidy to a point of no return and sent the word Diplomacy back to the stone age.....
I realise that China and Russia are probaly worse ( better the devil you know) But how come the supposed leaders of the free world can elect somebody like Bush TWICE ?

ABC News' Tahman Bradley Reports: The Spanish-language television network Univision has invited all of the major Republican and Democratic presidential candidates to participate in two separate debates this fall, according to a Univision spokesman. The debates, which would both be held on the University of Miami campus, would be the first Spanish language presidential debates televised on Univision.

So far no candidates have replied to the network's invitation.

There was a pouring support for Ron Paul. After 181 comments, they redirected it to who won the democratic debates. Someone saved the website and instead put it here. CNN and others are blatantly censoring Ron Paul supporters. Is this how Americans and America should be?

See it for youself

I was there last night and posted support for Ron Paul as he was the only candidate that wants our troops out of Iraq.

Bill Clinton’s promise to lift the ban on gays in the military provoked one of the most wrenching fights of his first year in office. It roiled his relationships with Congress and the military, consumed huge amounts of political capital, and ultimately ended in an uneasy compromise: “Don’t ask, don’t tell.”

So it was noteworthy and politically telling, 14 years later, when the eight Democratic candidates at a contentious debate in New Hampshire seemed in utter agreement on one thing: It was time to return to that original promise to allow gay men and lesbians to serve openly in the military. It was time to repeal “Don’t ask, don’t tell,” which allows them to serve if they keep quiet about their sexual orientation and do not engage in homosexual acts.

I've heard that illegal aliens will be able to pay 3 to 5 grand to become citizens. Of course they'll have to jump through some easily avoidable hoops to get to the cashier's cage, but how hard will that be? Wow. Shades of the old Roman Empire when a 'barbarian' could drop off a bag of coins and get a paper declaring him a 'Citzen of Rome'. Of course any illegal who decides not to pay the bribe money simply will laugh at the dumb-*** gringos who came up with such a dumb-*** idea. Meanwhile, we still have no 'fence'. Not even the piddily little 700 mile 'Bush Barrier'. I don't know about you guys, but for me, this entire idea doesn't pass the 'sniff' test. Wadda' 'ya think?

Ex-POW tells Glamour she still gets hate mail
June 7, 2007
The Associated Press
NEW YORK — Former prisoner of war Jessica Lynch still receives hate mail, four years after her capture and long after publicly disputing the military’s exaggerated accounts of her capture and rescue in Iraq.

The former Army private from Palestine, W.Va., was severely injured and 11 other soldiers killed when their convoy was ambushed in Nasiriyah in 2003. Lynch, one of six soldiers captured, was later rescued by American troops from an Iraqi hospital, but the military’s account of the ambush embellished her role to make it sound more heroic.
Lynch, who testified before Congress in April, has received some 30,000 letters from people across the country. While most are from supporters, there are plenty of critics.

“People say, ‘You didn’t do anything in Iraq.’ Sometimes I think I’m the most hated person in America,” she told Glamour magazine for the July issue appearing on newsstands June 12.

My friend's dad is a retired Captain of the US Army, and he cannot get a job. Why is that? Why a Captain who is a war hero and served his country for so many years cannot get a decent job.

My friend is in the Navy Rotc and Im about to go the Air Force. We will both have college degree, him in engineering and me in chemistry. But can we get good high paid jobs like 160-200k jobs?

I seemed to notice, that soldiers give their life away to serve this country, but the majority doesn't seem to give a hoot about it.

Companies want fresh qualified graduate applicants who will make their image better instead of veterans, who they see as nothing but killers?

My friend told me that is all about the Pride of serving in your country and I agree with him.

But Can I still get a job after my service over and still make as much as to my counterparts who will be well established in the the job market?

Is it too late to take our country back out of their hands? Any ideas? The only thing I know to do is vote for an underdog candidate. Like Ron Paul or someone similar.
