im writing a paper on two articles...and one of them is very conservative..so i was wondering..what's the main difference between how liberal view the poor and how conservatives do?

conservatives believe the best approach to poverty is to set up a structure wherein people can work their out of poverty. However, in the short term, people have to suffer through poverty.
LIBS focus on providing services, including money, to alleviate the immediate effects of poverty. However, this removes any incentive for people to work their way out of poverty.

I don't think there is any difference in the way the two groups "view" poverty. I am sure all people agree that it is not a good thing. The ideas on how to improve the lives of the poor differ. Conservatives favor individual opportunity. Liberals want the government to run everything and liberals want to run the government.

A Democrat has to research questions, and have a tendency to have many questions to ask, and even more answer to understand. A Liberal seeks truth, and does not settle for dogma rhetoric. A liberally minded person will piece things together like a puzzle, and make sure the are true and verifiable. Because liberals tend to have of an opinion of their own, are often viewed , or labeled as a liberal. To every issue, there are many answers, one has to ask, is what I have been told, or heard, is that the truth, or is there more to the story. A liberal will be honest within themselves about the environment, and not just allow what is happening to the planet as just a liberal view. If something is not done, it is all of our children and grandchildren that will ultimately pay, and that is too big a price for byas appathy. A Republican tends to be led, and does not think much for themselves. They are content not to understand much about anything but what they are told. They choose to be bias, and not consider other answers, even if the other answer is correct and verifiable. Republicans are rank and file, and follow unquestionably, without much care of their own. To them you say Gobal warming, and get a barage of how that is just liberal bunk. We are within 10 years of the point of no return on our environment, there is no time left for bickering about it anymore. An enviroment of answers to the issues that face us all. The massive hurricanes alone are showing us, not to mention the ice shelves and glaciers are melting. Truth as I spoke of, the difference.

Conservatives believe that if you teach a man to fish then he will be able to feed himself for his whole life.
Liberals are the ones who grab baseball bats and go out and beat the homeless, maiming them and killing some.Because liberals have no morals and they just do whatever they think is fun or feels good at the time.

the Democrats want to create a huge bureaucracy to hire all of their friends so they can help with the problems of the poor! Than create a needy customer base to support their jobs.
Republicans want private Non profits to be working in competition for solving the problems of the poor and to open up avenues of interest for people to get involved!
Have you ever met a caring government worker... I was homeless for over a year and the government was a joke!

Conservatives believe Business and Corporations are the key to having a growing economy, as in the "trickle-down theory". Liberals believe the PEOPLE matter - build from the ground up, as the way the U.S.A. was first developed. (After the Constitutional form of government was established).

Conservatives do not care about world poverty unless something material can be gained by helping the poor out. Liberals are the supporters for programs to help the poor with no material gain.
