I listen daily as the Hollywood elite, the press and left wing entities praise the efforts of Al Gore and all that he is doing for humanity for producing movies, writing books and giving paid speeches.

My question is, if Al was such a humanitarian, why does he not give most or all of the enormous proceeds away to humanitarian causes here and abroad? If you ask me, he is just playing this country as a fool and laughing all the way to the bank.

What do you think?

If you remember, Tabacco companies used to use this image to make their customers think smoking made you manly. In reality, it was a facade, much like the presidency of Ronald Reagan (who spent his entire presidency pretending to be John Wayne).

I see nothing in the Constitution that places Bush or any president above the law.

When you change the NIE and present a false assesment of intelegence to Congress for a vote. That is at least conspiracy to commit fraud.

What I mean is I just answered a question where some one was pointing out that America (U.S.A.) has areas that are like a 3rd world country. How is this even remotely possible.. I've traveled to a lot of different states in the U.S. and been to a lot cities and towns... Some where extremely poor... But not once have I ever seen
Children half clothed and so skinny that they can't even stand up.
Houses made of sod and grass.
No way of obtaining food, water or medicine.
9 yr. old kids and younger who have to work everyday of their life instead of attending school so that they can feed their other siblings due to their parents early deaths.
A government who has no programs (absolutely NONE) availiable to assist those who are poor and disabled. (we have hundreds if not more organizations and programs that help our poor).
Have you seen such conditions in the U.S.A. If so how can you just walk by without helping a child in that position.. We have places that can help.

Road rage, wife beating, child abuse, verbally abusive, terrorize neighbors, threaten family members, criticize those who don't agree, over power conversations, it's all about me syndrome, continually threaten to run for president and finally own too many guns to fit in all of your gun racks?

Today's Article:
Thompson's focus on the Internet as a campaign tool is mirrored by the top Democratic contenders, Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, who already have mined the Web's ability to collect demographic and voting information. College-aged Americans are plugging in to the race through the Internet, and Thompson is the first Republican to have "one of the most profound personality cults we've seen in politics for a long time," according to National Review Online's Jonah Goldberg.

Fred Thompson jokes are even circulating online, presenting wild claims that "every night before he goes to sleep, Osama bin Laden checks under his bed for Fred Thompson," and "Superman is only vulnerable to two things: Kryptonite and Fred Thompson." Others say "Fred Thompson glared at the Mexican border and stopped illegal immigration for a month."

Thompson/ Mc Cain vs Hillary/ Obama- What a show!
What says you?

That really makes sense.

We go in a 4 year Malstrom from WMD's to fighting Iraqs war for them, and that is good for America. But ousting the perpetrator of the debacle is a waste of time?!?!?!?

There really must be something to that Chemical Fumes in Carpet complaint.

is not true? Are they out of touch with the severity of the poverty problem in their country?Or do they CHOOSE to look the other way?
The annual Human Development Report normally concerns itself with the Third World, but the 2005 edition scrutinises inequalities in health provision inside the US as part of a survey of how inequality worldwide is retarding the eradication of poverty.

It reveals that the infant mortality rate has been rising in the US for the past five years - and is now the same as Malaysia. America's black children are twice as likely as whites to die before their first birthday

For half a century the US has seen a sustained decline in the number of children who die before their fifth birthday. But since 2000 this trend has been reversed.

Getting the job done! as President of the USA..
In one of my favorites movies *A Bronx Tale* with De-Niro .A statment made to Sonny by *C* Cologeo when he asks him *Is it better to be feared or loved*? Sonny said for me, I would rather be feared, fear lasts longer-Well as leader of a Nation I agree with that statement! and Fred has the power from what we know thus far to commmand that and take action from those who might want to challenge the USA, just like Ronald Reagan, The Middle East does not RESPECT women in the first place that is why Condi has no impact as well as Hillary being a joke to the entire Middle East Region, even though they are proably hoping she will win.

Edwards tries to exude a presence of power and authority but is wishy washy at best and looks like a Ken Doll from the Barbie Collection. Tree-huuging hippie Kusinich is laugable and at best Biden might do well but is caught up in the melee of Bush Bashers.
Thoughts?

Think about it. Think about the people you encounter on a daily basis, at the store, at the movies, on the road...

Do you think those people know what's best for you?

HIllary's cankles or John Edwards looks?

Seems like nothing of substance regarding the democratic candidates philosophies, voting records, proposed policies or other beliefs makes it to the forefront, just bashing on things that have nothing to do with their ability to lead this country.
