Think about it. Think about the people you encounter on a daily basis, at the store, at the movies, on the road...
Do you think those people know what's best for you?

Some of you clearly can't read. I'm not criticizing our system, I'm making a point about why people should vote.

Wonderful question.
One of the main problems in current democracies is that people don't get politically involved. Voting is the power of each citizen to decide what's good for themselves.
It's really sad and pathetic to let others decide FOR YOU WITHOUT YOU.

thinking how the greenback has basically approximately evaporated fee to a million/3 it incredibly is fee 10 years in the past, do you desire to truly have confidence in that device? I have confidence in God's financial device. it is why some smart people had to get that motto on our forex as a reminder to no longer provide too plenty weight to funds. it incredibly is form of a central authority disclaimer that if your have confidence in is the money and it is going flat you could no longer blame the government. yet those trusting God are no longer enable down via God. The Lord introduced on us to transform further and extra components to gold commencing up 15 years in the past, so what we owned then and because has no longer been misplaced, because of the fact gold expenses went up adequate to offset the losses in forex.

Do you trust your fellow Americans to pick the leader who is right for you?
How did that work out in 2000 and 2004. It's bad enough that there are people voting that don't take even a second to educate themselves on the candidates, we also have to deal with "party loyalty".

I have thought about this and you make a good point.. If you don't want Joe Blow in the car next to you who has his finger knuckle deep in his nose to be the voice of America, Then you need to do your part and Vote to make the difference you desire. Voting shouldn't be viewed as a bother but a privilege or a American duty.
Good Question!!! Thumbs up from me

The man who slammed on his breaks this morning just to let someone in the next lane pass so that he could get over (only to decide he didn't want to change lanes afterall) certainly didn't.
That's why I indoctrinate the weak-minded individuals I meet when I get the opportunity. I mean, why have one vote when you can have 5 or 10?

I haven't missed a vote in 39 years (you had to be 21 to vote when I was a kid) including when I was in Vietnam, so I'm not about to start missing 'em now. I don't trust anyone to do anything for me.

don't expect too many serious answers to this serious question.
it's a tough question and after the last election i found myself wondering why i bothered to care.
never once has my vote actually been cast for a president who took office - that means i never voted for clinton or bush or reagan.
idealists have told me that my 'protest' vote matters and sends a message but i really do wonder sometimes...

I have the hope that there are other middle of the roaders out there that think close to the way I do. I guess the key word here is hope.

America has fallen from a Republic to a "Democracy"(dictatorship). People may be able to vote, but they have no say whatsoever as to who is nominated to run for office. This is all determined by who has the most money (multinational corporations). America is a fascist country. It is really sad that the people no longer have a say.

George Bush is the most incompetent, self-serving president in history, and he got re-elected. There's no hope.
Of course, he wasn't actually elected - he stole both elections. Maybe if we get some UN oversight into our election process there's hope.
