Not to mention all the times that they attacked something attached to the US and Clinton did nothing. Then there's the "let's tell them when we're leaving" strategy.

To get a real appreciation of what's happening, consider for a moment that you are a terrorist in Iraq and you tune into the local news and there's the United States democratic Senate leader telling you that the United States has lost the war - and, prior to this, you hear that proposals are being introduced to initiate an immediate withdrawal - or at best, a set timetable for withdrawal. You already know what the president's approval rating is - and the fact that the war funding became a political debacle - and that elections are coming up in 2008......and democrats pretty much cleaned up in November on a policy of defeat.
If a republican is elected in 2008 with anywhere near the commitment and resolve of President Bush concerning these dirt bags - it will be a crushing defeat for the terrorists.
I don't think that there can be any serious debate that the democratic policy of throwing in the towel has anything but a very positive effect on the confidence of an inevitable victory by the Islamic radicals.
Possible consequences of their policies has never been a big part of liberal thinking. Sad.

Yes, and the terrorist are eatting this up. It is Clinton's war, not Bush war. Only difference is Bush has the balls to finish. Clinton started the war to draw attention away from his impeachment hearings, Clinton had Bin Laden in his sight five times and let him go.
if you live in fear of something doesn’t that pretty much make you a coward? If you live in fear of being called a coward, what does that say about you.
It is one thing to be afraid or to have fear, but to live in fear, and not finish what you started, like Clinton, that makes him a coward. Both Clintons have been anti war since they were in high school.

Yes, they have. The terrorist know they can not drive our troops from the field and that they will lose every battle.
But the Democrats and other anti-war protest provide the terrorist with the hope that the democrats will drive our troops from the field and leave the terrorist with victory. Just as the Vietnamese lost every battle and won the war.

Al-Quaida WANTS the US to be in Iraq. It's their primary recruitment tool as well as the new major training ground for new terrorist. Nothing trains a guerrilla fighter as an actual warzone, you know. And I don't think the people who hate America cares the least if it's Clinton, Bush, Gore or Obama that's sitting in the Oval Office directing the American oil interests.

you can bet they have, just think if you were a Muslim what would be your take if one side of our political wing wanting to quit or just plain surrender, would it not give you encouragement to continue the struggle? if both sides said hell no we won't quit until you bastards are all dead , how many would have already said I am not a terrorist , just leave me alone. a very many would have given up long ago,and the sad part is our politicians know this, if not then they damned sure need to go back to school.
