If we send in more American influence, what makes our administration believe Maliki's govt will act any differently than in the past?
I would like to understand their logic (or lack thereof).

If Hillary were to win the nomination, do you think she would ask her husband to be the vice president?

It would not be unheard of. Former president Gerald Ford considered running for vice president with Ronald Reagan, after having already served as president.

Will she or won't she?

I could believe I found a picture of our president feeling up his own daughter in front of thousands of people. Even though he looks like he is joking, is he just getting away with behavior because he's the president?

Although I advocate a US Theocracy based on an amended US constitution proclaiming the US a Christian country yet protecting the rights of the individual, I think it is a shame that a country that promotes smoking, porn use, abortions, alcohol use, etc... uses this as its motto.

I think it should. It really bothers me to see it on money. Money is the dirtiest, most vile man-made creation ever. It is a shame to see the NAME OF THE LORD OUR GOD on filthy money.

Opinions?

Such Bible-thumpers who use religion in issues of State should know that Jesus was very inclined to help the poor. It's in the Bible.

Violent terrorists have taken the lives of 7 people in supposed anti-abortion tactics. And yet, the Liberals try label the anti-abortion movement as a whole as terrorism.

Palestinian terrorists have killed 1,000s and yet they are freedom fighters? More liberal hate-mongering? I think so... opinions?

Large govt was never a traditional conservative ideal. But it is something that the wire-tapping and Patriot Act and huge tax cuts for the rich businessmen creates.

This is great, they ONLY have a platform because we buy that mind rot that comes out of Hollywood, so in a way, they are like are politicians. We 'elect' them through our money, so they should listen to us.

Better yet, if the Demoncrats push through the 'fairness' doctrine, will all these rich, elite, celebs have to shut up???

There are many scientists who do not believe that humans are responsible for global warming. There IS still a debate, whether or not the media likes it or not, about whether or not humans caused global warming.

But whether or not it is true, Al Gore CLAIMED that "An Inconvenient Truth" was a documentary. However, since I refuse to even rent the movie, for fear that Al Gore will recieve even a penny from it, I have a question for anyone who watched the movie.

A TRUE Documentary "documents reality", so he would obviously get opinions from many scientists. But in a TRUE documentary, he would also go out of his way to show the opposing viewpoint, since they also have facts to support their theory.

So was this a true documentary? Did he interview Bill Gray, or other opposing scientists? Or was this a Michael Moore-type documentary, where it is only one viewpoint.

If so, we should rename it from being a "documentary" to being an "opinion piece", and quit trying to fool people.

In every way imaginable, Guiliani is socially liberal. McCain bashed Bush plenty in the past, supported him, bashed again, supports Bush now but bashes Rumsfeld in a recent speech.
Geez, it doesn't even seem like either of them could win the nomination.
Does anyone else think the republican candidate in '08 will be neither of the two?

My question really is, What impact does the entire bottled water industry have on the environment?

Story book it. The carbon footprint must make the the Grand Canyon look like a slight depression.

And please, follow the left's scientific method. Don't free constricted by backing up anything you present as fact--It will suppress your creativity.

If one is an anti-abortionist, pro-Bible, or anti-homosexual chauvinism, one is considered a fanatic. But... vehemently anti-war, anti-Bush, pro female, homosexual, or pro minority chauvinism and the Liberals consider one to be a 'patriot'.

Is the country loosing the battle against Newspeak? Nothing really 'means' anything anymore.

I am a firm believer in the "Live and Let Live" saying. People are free to eat, drink and smoke as they wish and whenever they see it fit, within their own beliefs and habits. We can almost all agree that smoking however is a deterrent to good health, causing the smokers and the non-smokers serious health conditions. We also know that the health system is suffering from lack of funding and is sub-par to what it should be nowadays in country like ours.
Having stated facts, I'd like an intelligent and constructive feedback on this: Would you support raising considerably taxes on smoking products (cigarettes, cigars, etc..) accross nation rather than doing so in other areas like income tax ? Would you raise it to 50% ?
The increase would help fill up the registers in the health system, encourage people to smoke less for financial reason primarily (secondly for health conscious), and enable people to earn more (regardless if you smoke or not). I appreciate intelligent answers.
Thanks.

You have to eliminate the major flaws like corrupt Business & Government! Eliminate our wealthy elite puppet masters restore inclusion to the commoners! Role reversal is needed they are supposed to be serving YOU not us being the wage-slaves of exclusion. You have to amend the constitution ending representative government in its current role. Replace with majority rule & control by the legal citizens.

George Lucas made Star Wars, so does that make him an expert on Space Travel?

Why isn't George Lucas petitioning the US government to start producing light sabers?

Just because you made a movie about something doesn't mean you know anything about it. Besides, I think Star Wars is more of a documentary than Al Gore's movie.
