Hillary has said she considers Iran "a threat". Most of the rest favor doing nothing and/or ignoring the problem.

Iran is alright--they were our allies in Afghanistan. They may have held some hostages awhile back, but that's when we supported Hussein--go figure. It's more than fully documented that they can't sustain their infastructure on oil--they are running out--nuclear power is all they are after---there is no enrichment program--that's a falsehood classified as a Bush Lie--amongst others.
How can we rely on White House rhetoric to sway our opinion when they don't even consider negotiating with them on any level?
Iran has strong allies in China and Russia, why would we want to mess up those ties through aggressive actions against Iran? Iran would surely cripple the world by damaging the Oil infastructure of the region making our economy sink into oblivion--What are we supposed to pedal everywhere?

Iran may be a threat, but it appeaers it is currently more bark than bite.
The Iran government knows that the US has too much on its plate to engage in a full-scale confrontation.
Iran is merely communicating that it is a "player" in world politics.
Before the US engages in another conflict, we need to resolve the open issues concerning Afghanistan and Iraq.
Then, deal with Iran and Syria, if necessary, through non-diplomatic means...

Perhaps the liberals are contemplating a methodology by which Iran can be annexed into the United States so that additional welfare monies could be allocated to Iran and thereby increasing the voter base for the liberal democrats. (Things that make you go hmmmmm?)

So what! If we keep an eye on them or give them the stuff already at power and not weapons level we will not need to butt into their business any longer.
