I am more angry at the chav culture , u know the ones that spit out kids and claim all the benefits going ... let their kids run wild and just sponge off the state ... i am sick of paying for these ppl who sit on their door steps in the summer with their quiet frightening whilst rolling a joint ,showing off in their cars that ain't taxed or road worthy and never get caught while their little c*nts go around throwing stones at windows and generally being a pain in the a*se at 2 years of age ... i work i cant afford weed every day or booze every day,yet i am paying for theirs..... I wish !! At least asylum seekers want to work ,want a better life !!

Hi,i know the feeling only im in a different situation my hubby as to work aboard.Once the morgage is paid off we hope a suitable job will turn up.Everyone assumes because he works abroad were loaded its not true has they now get workers from countries were the cost of living is cheap so the wages have dropped. Its a pity us UK citizens cannot find asylum in a nice warm cheap country.Wishfull thinking at least we can dream.Have a lovely holiday.

The poor immigrants to this country (the US) build our houses, mow our lawns (cutting our grass), pick our fruits and vegetables, watch our children, clean our houses, all at a fraction of the cost we'd have to pay had they not come here. So, I have nothing against people who have come and worked in our country
and most of them do work very hard.

The money that's really wasted is the 100 billion (yes with a B) dollars a year that's spent on the war in Iraq. That's 274 million a day or 11.4 million every hour. We can create lots of jobs and educate a lot of students for 274 million a day!

Run for political office of course! I Don't know about the UK, but here in the States politicians get $100 daily meal allowances, automobile and gasoline privileges, free vacations paid for by lobbyists groups, not to mention a great retirement and medical program. Best of all, you only have to work 3 days out of the week and don't even have to be competent while you are working!

I don't know anything about the UK.. i am in the US.

That being said, I understand your frustration but do you really want to be a freeloader?

Taxes don't pay for everything, unfortuanely. If they did, we'd be paying through the nose. People complain that they pay too much in taxes, yet they want the government to pay for paved roads, police, fire, libraries, etc. The money's got to come from somewhere. Everything in life has a pricetag attached to it.

If you don't want to pay for a parking permit... move someplace that has a driveway and/or a garage where you can park your car on your own property.

Here we either have to pay for a doctor visit, or buy health insurance... either way we pay. Medicaid is only available for the truly low income families and I wouldn't want to be in their shoes.

I'm not a UK citizen, but except for the British sounding words (Bullocks, flipping, dosh) you sound as if you have the same problem as many Americans have.

Until liberals on all sides of the globe decide that it's okay for a "normal" person to reap the benefits of what they themselves work for, I'm afraid that you're at the mercy of bleeding hearts who feel that minorities, homosexuals, and the unemployed are more deserving of your money than you are.

I have solution ;)

You come to UK as an immigrant and seek for asylum in your own country.
Come as a Borat guy.

Everything is for free. Then you will see for what taxes are spent.

Instead of moving to a place where you can take advantage of the government, why not take up the issue with your leaders? Getting advice from people in here is a lousy way to live your life. If you truly want to move, please don't pick the US. Try somewhere closer to you...like Australia.

On a side note...I would do ANYTHING for a decent job. Quit complaining and just pay your taxes. I pay mine and I'm not thrilled about the government giving it up to people coming into this country. It truly pisses me off.

Worth a try mate! Its seems to work well for them. Give it a go & let us know how you get on - it could be good for a lot of us hard-working, tax-paying Brits! Great idea.
