I don't think it will be either of them.
Nor do I think Hillary or Obama will win the Democratic nom.

I was raised Rep. and the only member of my family that was not, was my great grandma(Dem.) and did she catch hell for it! I still to this day don't understand the big deal behind picking a party, unless you donate to gain a tax break. I used to vote Rep. because everyone in my family did, and you know you just automatically think its the right thing to do, go with the flow. But not anymore, I only vote for who I think will do the best job, not because of what party they represent, and anymore that gets harder and harder to do when they can't stop bashing each other long enough to tell us what they care about and are gonna do. I am pro-gun, I live in a rural community where just about everyone owns a gun (no threat of gangs here!). And I know that a lot of Dem. are not on my side there, but it is one of our rights that no one should infringe upon, they (govt) should just make being able to get one even harder and a lot of people will stop trying.
All of the candidates will bash each other until the end of our democracy, which is hopefully never. All I know is I want to trust the next presidential hopeful, whoever he or she may be, without a doubt. Good luck to that, right? It really stinks when you can't have any faith in a crooked, I'm better than you, but I'll scratch your back if you'll do mine government. I think we all should run! For president that is!

Who cares as long as one of them can manage to do their job right. McCain can bash Bush however and whenever he wants. If Bush is screwing up he deserves to be reprimanded by someone in his party. If he's doing something right, he should be supported. Just because you bash someone once doesn't mean you should have to all the time. McCain probably will get the nom over Guiliani.
And this is a bit off on a tangent, I think it'll be McCain for the Republicans and Obama for the Dems.

It is too early to tell. Bill Clinton wasn't huge a year before the primaries and in Iowa he was near the bottom and was 2nd in New Hampshire, yet he still won the nomination. We won't know for sure until next year. The people who are popular now are the people we knew before anyway. Some people like Brownback, or Mike Huckabee are still relativly unknown.

It doesn't matter who the Republicans nominate or who runs, the Republicans are not going to win this election. The people want a change. No Republican can win & I would not even try if I were a Republican!
Big maybe, 8 years they can make a rebound, the people may be ready to give them another chance.

We will have to wait and see.the election is 1 1/2 years away...Have no idea why the Libs are starting up, so early. I suppose it's a good way to divert attention to the real issues, out there..and a good way for them to sneak around and pass stupid liberty snatching laws, while no one is looking...

I think Brownback will end up being the candidate in the General Election, mainly because God"speaks" to him, like he does W.And Republicans love having their religion abused.

The media hasn't shown you but three candidates. McCain, Romney & giuliani and they left out the best of them all. Ron Paul from texas. A true american patriot.

Well then, if that's the case, then Democrats will be falling down all over themselves in a gleeful jubilee of their self-assured victory.
