From what I read he may have insulted Bill Clinton, but all he said was that too many find the Clinton name offensive for Hillary to overcome that mindset. No matter how intelligent and capable she is. Is what he said untrue and isn't he entitled to his opinion?

Well, Susi I didn't intend to defend the Clinton's, but I don't believe I ever saw George Bush break a sweat when he lied.
I'm not calling for support of McCain, but he's about the only politician, that I ever saw, who I could definitely tell was lying when I knew he was lying. Like you said though. They all lie and isn't it a shame that we've pretty much come to accept that?

Steven I don't necessarily disagree with you, but my question was how did David Geffen insult Hillary Clinton. By your own admission many have a problem with the Clinton name, for whatever their reasons.
Isn't that what David Geffen said?

Lou, Maybe what happened was that Geffen now sees a need for this country to be united and, as he said, no matter how qualified and intelligent Hillary is, she will not be able to seal the divide. You know, as well as I do, that there are many people who will never forgive Bill Clinton. Right or wrong their short hairs rise when they hear the Clinton name. I don't know about you, but I've had enough of Republican Presidents.
